A warm greetings to Victor et al! I have been learning various things in Blender since early last decade but the magic of Python scripting and Blender-specific procedures have left me giving up every time. My biggest issue, I believe, was that there was no one to ask when I had a problem. I'm quite good at researching issues but Blender is its own special deal and failure to work my way towards solutions in the very beginning of attempts was so overwhelming I gave up many times. It seems Victor is the chink in the wall of this impenetrable wall and I am keen to begin his course literally right now. What do I make in Blender? I am constantly practising animating vectors that I have created in Inkscape inside of blender. Basically I call it "flash-like" animation because I believe that's basically what it is. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm a wandering odd-ball who has gone through many transmutations including music-related activities, self-taught programmer, amateur visual art and design, country hopper, rocks & water, and many more.... I'm at a point in my life where I'd like to explore my personal thoughts and experience through media and share those with folks who might be interested in listening. Blender is my video editor as well as my animation engine so I have enjoyed exploring mixing real life footage with my animations. It would be bloody helpful to learn how to use Python and Blender together in order to make my efforts substantially easier to get out to interested parties! Thank you for your time and energy reading my post and I hope this post finds you well. /Leigh
@Peter Asp Colour me jealous, I am impressed you sussed out the scripting at all. I appreciate even advanced folks like yourself showing up here because it lets a beginner such as myself know that even pros need help. It always helps to know one is not alone. All the best in your journey.
