Rock bottom
Currently going through an amicable break up (her instigation NOT mine), we haven’t had any arguments, but we’ve hurt each-other a lot in the past. I’m a violent alcoholic. She’s been unfaithful. A lot of water under the bridge. But I know for sure she’s not fully checked out.

How is your contact going with her mate? Maybe you both need some space I’m going through a breakup 2 kids hoping she comes around and can get over the going through my phone situation even though we was broke up when she when into my phone.

Hi I am new here, currently going through a break up with my other half since August 2025 she left with my two kids and when into my phone around Feb 2026 and accused me of cheating even though we was together anymore just wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing and how are they coping? I’m struggling as she’s cut all contact other than the kids haven’t even had the chance to sit down and talk to her…

Hi mark, yes I’m finding it difficult because my ex partner doesn’t like to talk things through instead she avoids conversation as she’s an avoidant so I’ve just gave space but at some point I’d hope we could sit down as we have a 3 year old and 1 year old. I am seeing the children but we don’t even talk really. I’m working on myself but I don’t know if she is willing to get over what she saw in my phone. I’m hoping time will help us and she gets to a point where she is ready for a talk! I don’t want this to be the end for us
