Oopsie, better late than never 📮 Why We Write P.S. Did you know… P.S. comes from the Latin phrase post scriptum, meaning "written after." Before emails and editing buttons, once a letter had been signed and folded, there wasn't an easy way to go back and add another paragraph. So if the writer suddenly remembered one last thought, secret, or important detail, they'd add it at the end with: P.S. Some letters even had: P.P.S. (post-post scriptum) and occasionally P.P.P.S.! Historians have found that the P.S. was often the most personal part of the letter—the little thing the writer almost forgot to say. 💬 Question of the Week Be honest… Are you a:

No not Italian, but I do have a cousin that lives in Italy. My son-in-law thinks we’re weird. That’s how we say good bye on the phone too.

My letter is complete and I just posted it. This deadline has crept up on me so fast but I hope my penpal enjoys reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it ❤️

During the 𝗦𝗶𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝟭𝟴𝟳𝟬, ordinary mail couldn't leave the city by road. So thousands of letters were carried out by 𝙝𝙤𝙩 𝙖𝙞𝙧 𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙣, floating over enemy lines to reach waiting friends and families. 🎈📮 It's one of the most remarkable chapters in postal history—and proof that people have always found a way to stay connected through handwritten letters. 𝙌𝙪𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣: If you could choose an old-fashioned way to send your next letter, which would you pick? 💭 Vote and then tell us why in the comments

I would choose by steam train because I just love trains. We took a train trip from BC to Alberta when I was about 9. I’ve never forgotten that trip.
