@G B everyone is different, and since i never had kidney stones i thought i could have high oxalate foods and i had lots of them, like quinoa, sweet potato, spinach, beans, lentils, and those already mentioned. For me, this was very hard on my kidneys and I suspect the surgeries i needed in my 50's for what they said was a congenital defect (UPJ obstruction, i.e. blockages in kidney/ureter,) were related to inflammation caused by oxalates. I still have symptoms as my body clears oxalate. My doctors are CLUELESS and completely unhelpful. Except more than happy to cut me open without addressing inflammation. I WISH i had known about oxalates (Sally Norton) before my surgeries. But it is what it is.
