GLPs what questions do ya got?
Hi everyone. Just wanted to check in. I've been doing some research and scoping out some outlines. I want to do a GLP series. So anyhow, I have four videos lined up because I just had so much to say. But before I record them, which I'll be recording next week, I genuinely want to know your questions. I want to make sure I have answered them in these videos. If not, how could I answer them in these videos? Vote below for the video you are most excited for So please, please reply. What are your questions about GLPs that you wanted to ask? I will consider all the questions and release the first video next week. Have a great day. Bye.

I hope I am not too late but I would love to know more of the risks about GLP-1's with long-term use, as I know they are not all designed the same.
The lab most people don't think to ask for
Quick one for you today, and it's the kind of thing that's easy to miss. A new meta-analysis pooled 30 studies, nearly 4,800 women with PMOS, and found that 58% had vitamin D deficiency. It tracked closely with other things I already watch for... higher BMI, insulin resistance, inflammation. This is a genuinely completed meta-analysis, not just a registered plan (unlike the mental health one I shared a few weeks back) — this one actually pooled the data and ran the numbers, which is why I trust the 58% figure. Vitamin D isn't a flashy lab. It's not usually top of mind. But this is exactly the kind of thing that's easy to leave off a standard panel, and easy to fix once you know. 📎 The study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42375776/ Have you ever had your vitamin D tested as part of your PMOS workup? If not... worth asking for at your next visit.

I was lucky my Naturopathic Doctor included a Vitamin D test on my initial lab panel when diagnosing my PMOS. Once she explained the connection, I realized just how vital Vitamin D really is for overall health!
GLP video and learning!
Hi, just wanted to say hi to everyone. I know we talked about the GLP series, GLP 1 series coming up, and I recorded the first video. I am using a different editing process at this time so that hopefully, in the long run, it speeds things up. This way, I can spend more time focusing on video creation and less time on the boring editing bits. But anyhow, as I'm learning all new things, which is such a great parallel to when we do lifestyle and habit stuff for the first time, there is a little bit more friction. So yeah, it's all recorded, but it has not been edited and it's not been uploaded. I'm letting you know that just to be transparent because I told you it would be coming this week. But the truth is, my next couple of days are really busy clinical days. Then I immediately heading off-grid for the long weekend in Canada, So anyhow, for all of you having a long weekend this weekend, I hope you have a super great time. I will check in when I get back after some green therapy. So anyhow, have a great week!

Pitch a video question ✨
Have a question about PCOS, metabolic health, cholesterol, or body love that you’d love answered in a video? Drop it here 👇 What works best: - Topics you’re confused about - PCOS/metabolic health/blood sugar/diet/cholesterol things you’ve seen online - Questions you’d love explained in simple terms - Things you wish doctors would explain more clearly What’s off-limits (to keep this safe & clear): - No personal or individualized medical questions - No requests for lab interpretations or supplement prescriptions - No posting your labs, meds, supplements Here’s how it works: 1. Add your question to this thread. 2. Upvote the ones you’d also love to hear about. 3. From time to time, I’ll choose questions that seem most helpful for the community and create a YouTube or IG video to unpack them. 💛 Think of it as a bonus gift, not a guarantee. A Heart to Heart My Vision For Community Here
A little something I’ve been reflecting on deeply 💛 Community can mean many things. This is my vision for this space. It’s built on three pillars: 📚 Curated Education: Learn Together You don’t need more information. You need clearer, better information led by compassion and evidence. I curate and guide the curriculum so you don’t have to sort through noise, fear, or bias. 🌱 Proactive Community: Be Together This is a proactive community. We’re not here to swap treatments or react to the last cycle or supplement. We’re here to grow, sharing how we’re creating aligned, meaningful actions towards a lifestle that dims the intensity of PCOS, hormone, metabolic and cycle health over time. This is bigger than tips and tricks. It's a catalyst for change and identity. For radical self-respect. For taking care of ourselves not because we have to, but because we appreciate our bodies and want to honour them. 🔁 Accountability: Grow Together We show up with our Sunday Shift intentions, using a framework that supports growth, not perfection. We support each other’s self-led goals. Consistency over intensity. Together, we rise. Mel 💛
