Saying Goodbye 🫂👋
Well ladies, this group has come to an end! This is the last post you'll receive so I hope you read it :-) I've been struggling to keep up with life in general and my priority has to become my physical re-strenthening. This platform takes much more work then I'm able to contribute right now to get it going in the way it should be, so I am switching my focus to FB where there seems to be more fruit and a platform I can easily keep up with. Thank-you to you all for your support as we tested this endeavor :-) If you haven't already, I would love if you would follow my Facebook page to stay in touch! (Or at minimum add me as a friend!) What are you waiting for?
Sometimes the things we’ve been praying for the longest can start to feel… foolish. Foolish to keep believing. Foolish to keep preparing. Foolish to keep declaring when nothing seems to be changing. Maybe you’ve been praying for healing, restoration, a breakthrough, or a door to open—and the waiting has been longer than you expected. ✨ But Scripture reminds us that obedience often looks foolish… right up until the miracle happens. 🪞 Meaning: Throughout the Bible, God often asked people to do things that didn’t make sense at the time. Noah built an ark before rain had ever fallen. The Israelites marched around Jericho in silence. Elisha told a widow to gather empty jars when she had nothing left. For a while, those acts probably looked strange—even pointless. But then God moved.... What looked like foolishness was revealed as faithfulness. The ark preserved life. The walls fell. The jars overflowed. Faith isn’t measured by how things look in the waiting. Faith is choosing obedience even when the outcome hasn’t appeared yet. 📖 Key Scriptures: Hebrews 11:7 Joshua 6:20 2 Kings 4:3–6 💫 Takeaway: What feels small, awkward, or unseen today may be the very obedience God uses tomorrow. 💛 Reflection Practice: • What is something you feel God asking you to remain faithful in right now? • How can you continue trusting Him in the waiting? 💖 Main Idea: Stay faithful in the waiting. God can change everything in a moment.

While we wait, God is teaching us. I have a few things I am waiting for. How to keep busy, dreaming, anticipation, hope, prayers and prayers. It is difficult to relax. Plus be encouraging to others of the same.
Let’s Talk About That Inner Voice!
Hey beautiful 💛 Can we check something together for a minute… ✨ The way we speak to ourselves matters more than we think. 🪞 Meaning: Some of us are walking around with a voice in our head that sounds harsh, critical, and never satisfied. But here’s the question— 👉 Is that voice actually agreeing with God… or working against what He says is true? Because God’s voice corrects, yes… but it never shames, crushes, or condemns. If your inner dialogue sounds like: “I’m not enough… I always mess this up… I’ll never change…” —that’s not truth. That’s a pattern. And patterns can be replaced. 📖 Key Scriptures: • Romans 12:2 (NIV) — “Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” • 2 Corinthians 10:5 (NIV) — “Take every thought captive…” • Psalm 139:14 (NIV) — “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made…” 💫 Takeaway: You don’t have to believe every thought you think. 💛 Let’s flip the script together: 👉 What’s ONE negative thought you’ve been hearing lately? Now rewrite it in truth and drop BOTH below: Example: ❌ “I’m failing” ✅ “God is still working in me, and I’m not finished yet”

With my daughter absent in my life and the many challenges I face in a new marriage, I have had many thoughts swishing around positive and negative, logical and questionable. Whatever I am doing is not working as she has left. I did I not give her enough space to flourish in her way, too strict, too strong, relied on her too much to help me.

Through intermittent texting with Nadine during the last 2 years, she expressed that with the help of counseling,, she is learning more about herself. Like us, she and Mitch married 3 months earlier in the same year. Each conversation via text is stepping on eggshells. With the recent death of her honorary Aunti Sally, Nadine did not come to the funeral. She received information from me about the funeral. One comment I made afterwards about Sally's kids hoping Nadine and I get back together soon, she didn't appreciate their knowledge of us in our current situation and has announced she will not reply to any texts till September. I have chosen NOT to text. When this began 2 years ago, I did not handle it well. Loads of crying, sadness. But I knew to let go handing more to God, so I did. The other choice was to lay down and die. I still have to release more. Thanks Bernie for sharing.
