You're probably not going to like this, but I don't sign people in anymore. I work rapport, and build trust by using the TRIS script and clarifying and probing with curiosity, then I get their contact info once I've done that, and put it straight into my phone. It has been working out for me really well, plus - when I had people sign in I had a lot of bad numbers that people would give. Right after the open house, I drive to the nearest coffee shop and input my leads into my database and call them. If i don't get a hold of them I will text them and set a task to follow up the next day.

Sales isn't
Once, there was a salesperson named Sam who thought the key to success was learning to handle every objection. But the more Sam focused on objections, the more they kept coming! My focus this week is improving on my mindset - detaching from the outcome of my calls, but also focusing on actively listening to the prospects so I can probe and clarify and get to the gameplan efficiently. Going to watch probe and clarify and the gameplan videos again!!
