Some of you saw the restaurant last time on Michelle’s birthday, and some of you haven’t seen it since. To be honest, this turned into much more than we first thought. What started as a renovation became a much bigger job once we began opening everything up properly. The deeper we got into it, the more we realised how much actually had to be redone. We’ve had to remove almost all the walls, take down parts of the roof, and start over from much more of a blank page than expected. And yes, there have also been enough cockroaches to last a lifetime 😅 So it has taken more time, more patience, and a lot more work than we imagined in the beginning. But at the same time, it’s also becoming something much better. Bigger, stronger and built the way it should be from the start. There is still a lot left to do, and we already know we need more time. But little by little it is moving forward ❤️

Hi family. For two and a half years, we have been building what is now Coachesdontplay. It hasn’t been an easy journey, as many of you know. It started three years ago when we had an armed robbery in our home, and us having to leave our home country, Sweden, for Spain. We decided then and there, or Jesper did, that this would be the best thing that ever happened to us. For six months we spent every waking hour brainstorming, using all of our combined resources and experiences to build our future. The last two and a half have been spent developing that, and finding our first coaches cafe. We have looked at many options, and tried a few, but none fit the many criteria's our first pace had to fill. Finally, we can say that we have found it. Maybe you have seen the small updates on social media. Maybe you have heard the rumours. But until yesterday, paper work hadn't happened. They now have, and I can proudly say that our first place will be on calle bergantin 4 (was previous Polka Bistro & Bar). This place is a hidden gem, and we plan to polish it. We will work as hard as we can to soft launch 30th of May (for the community), and open the bar (with tapas) fully for everyone by the middle of June. The kitchen will take one or two more months. I will give you small updates every week, so you can stay updated with us. What you probably haven't seen, is the 180+ sqm space behind Polka. This is where we plan to build a gym. The plan is to build the gym within two years, but we aim to do so faster. We will of course continue our outdoor classes, even if we have a gym. But for the times when your schedule doesn't fit the classes, or when it is terrible weather you will have that option. No excuses. Our full business plan reaches seven years, and we are currently in Q2 of year 2. These updates will come weekly here on SKOOL, until our platform, currently under construction, is finished.
