I'm making some calls to existing clients today, thought I'd drop the script that I'm using. It's not sexy, but the money is in the FOLLOWUP! ENJOY! __________ “Hi! Happy Holidays from Occidental Life — this is Kenya Caldwell. I’m calling to spread a little holiday cheer, check in on you, and share a quick update: you’ve been pre-approved for additional coverage if you’d like to take advantage of it. How are you and your family doing today?” ⭐“Great! I just have a very short, two-question holiday survey to make sure we’re taking good care of you. It’ll take less than 30 seconds.” 1️⃣ On a scale of 1–5, how satisfied are you with your current coverage and the service you’ve received from us this year?(1 = not satisfied, 5 = very satisfied) 2️⃣ Has anything changed in your family this year — like a new child, marriage, grandchild, or someone who now depends on you — who may need to be added or covered? (Pause, listen.) 🎁 If they say YES (there is someone new) “Wonderful — congratulations! I can help you make sure they’re fully protected. It only takes a few minutes to review options, and we can do that today or schedule a time that works better for you.” ❄️ If they say NO (no new family changes) “Perfect — thank you! I just want to make sure everything stays current so your coverage works exactly how you expect when your family needs it.” 🌟 Re-Establish Yourself as Their Representative “And just so you know, I’ll be your dedicated representative going into the new year. This is very true, I completely agree. The problem is most people don’t realize this until it’s too late. This is legacy building because you’re in it for the long haul. We must get this much needed message out to everyone.

Day 1
I love life insurance! My exes say I can talk the paint off the walls with it. I meet so many people whose lives would be worlds better, if only better coverage, or b. a decent income were more accessible. Life insurance fits both bills! You can be legally licensed within a couple weeks, but what then? SELLING insurance is a whole different ballgame; lots of people’s dreams die on this threshold, because it feels like STARTING OVER. You need products, and you still need training to make any money. I’d like to lower that threshold, by weaving classroom knowledge with sales floor know-how. The specific aim is passing the South Carolina examination for insurance licensure in the Life line of authority (LOA). In order to demonstrate key points, I’ll be using the products offered through Occidental Life of North Carolina as examples. Best stick to what I know.

Hello Kenya, I agree completely. Life insurance can definitely make life less stressful in many ways. Knowledge unlocks the way, but practical results open the door to generational wealth. Looking forward to learning and applying.
