Fuel line/exhaust pipe question
For those of you who have put headers and true dual exhaust on your trucks or blazers, how close is your exhaust pipe to the fuel lines down the passenger side? My lines are within 2 inches of the exhaust pipe. I don't plan on any rock crawling or hard off roading. My only worry is vapor lock if the lines get too hot.

Mine is fairly close, but still has the frame rail lip between them, never had an issue with mine
No longer a daily driver
I got my squarebody when I was 15 and daily drove it for 5 years, however recently getting a job in the bay area i drive a lot more now, so unfortunately it has been retired as a daily driver for now. At least ill have the ability to have it tore down for longer while I do the dually swap and put the new engine in. Lots to do but so little time to do it, slowly restoring, retrofitting, and upgrading

Finally got my k15 back
Just got my k15 back from the shop to fix the gear oil leak from both boxes, a few new shift forks and a input shaft sleeve later its much better and a good bit tighter, unfortunately its still having its weird 4th gear thunk. Im curious if anyone might have an idea what it could be? Transmission shop says they couldn't find anything to be causing it. It sounds like something is smacking against the case itself, you can hear it coming through the shifters. Some days its a little deeper, other its a bit higher pitched

Hub bore throughout models and years
So ivw been piecing together parts to dually swap my 75 gmc k15, I have a dana 70HD rear to put in, as well as some 8 lug hubs from a 1989 V2500 suburban, I know im running arrowcraft adapters up front, however just for screwing around, I found out that both the 8 lug front hubs, along with a 1997 14 bolt ff are a 4.6" hub bore, whereas the fana 70 is a 4.56, I was thinking all GM 8 lugs until 2001 or 2 were the 8x6.5? I will probably make a special note witharrowcraft when i go to order spacers but it got me curious PFA of local range cat that likes squarebodys
