You don't need to predict the market. You need a strategy that doesn't care what it does next.
Most investors spend their energy trying to guess which asset will outperform this year, stocks, gold, USD, mutual funds. The irony? The investors who consistently do well often aren't the best predictors. They're the best rebalancers. In our latest video, we take a Rs. 1 lakh portfolio split across stocks, mutual funds, gold, and USD, and show what happens when you simply rebalance it annually; selling a bit of what's up, buying a bit of what's down. No forecasting. No timing the top or bottom. Just discipline. We walk through how this portfolio actually performed across different market cycles in Pakistan, why annual rebalancing helps control risk without killing returns, and how Sarmaaya's tools make the whole process far less tedious than it sounds. If "buy low, sell high" has always sounded easier said than done, this video shows you a systematic way to actually do it. 🎥 Watch here: https://youtu.be/rLifs0M4oAc?si=ZLZWvIcw3Lb6EF-J Would you rebalance a portfolio like this, or do you prefer picking your own winners? Let us know below.

The Art of Meaningful Investment and Money Mindset.
Excited to be speaking at PAFROA (Rawalpindi Islamabad Chapter) on "The Art of Meaningful Investment and Money Mindset." 📅 08 August 2026 🕥 10:30 AM 📍 Air University Auditorium, Islamabad This one's special — speaking to PAF veterans, their spouses, and their grown-up children about something I think doesn't get talked about enough: that investing well starts with fixing your relationship with money, not with picking the "right stock." If you're at Air University or nearby, come through — you're welcome to join in person. Open to PAF veterans, spouses, and families. Organized by PAFROA Rawalpindi Islamabad Chapter.

How I turned market panic into a 21.5% return (and why most people miss this)
Hey everyone 👋 Wanted to share something real from my own portfolio — not a lesson, just what actually happened. When the US-Iran-Israel war broke out last quarter, our market dropped almost 25% in a matter of days. If you were active in the markets then, you remember the chaos. A lot of newer investors panicked and closed their positions at a loss. I did the opposite. At the peak of the panic, I put together a Rs. 1 million portfolio — Rs. 125,000 across 8 companies, spread across 8 different sectors. I even recorded a video while I was building it (attached below, you can see my thinking in real time). Fast forward 3 months: → ~20% price appreciation → 1.5% dividend yield → ~21.5% total return Now here's the part I actually want to talk about with you all — because the return isn't really the interesting part. The interesting part is: why was I able to buy when everyone else was selling? It wasn't confidence in "the market." It was confidence in the specific companies I owned. I understood their sectors, their fundamentals, why they'd still be standing regardless of a geopolitical shock. That's the whole reason this community exists. Most people start investing chasing upside — they want the number to go up. But nobody teaches you how to survive the downside first. And if you don't know what you own, every red day feels like a crisis instead of a normal part of investing. Education is what turns volatility from something scary into something you can actually use. Our recent training batches are closed.
