Pour It Out
Sisters, we had a powerful time at New Vision Ministries. We gathered, worshipped, and poured out our hearts before the Lord. Just as Mary poured out her oil at the feet of Jesus, we were challenged to surrender whatever has been competing for His place in our lives. Challenged to surrender whatever and whoever we thought completed us. As praise and worship filled the room, God's presence met us in a tangible way. Chains were broken, hearts were softened, and women experienced breakthrough as they released what they had been carrying and drew closer to Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7 (NLT) says, "Give all your worries and cares to God, for He cares about you." There's something so beautiful that happens when we stop holding on and start pouring out. Just like the woman at the well who left her vessel when she ran to town to tell the people about a man who told her everything she'd ever done. She didn't need ordinary water anymore. She had Living Water. We left our vessels empty, at the altar, and received what the Lord had for us. Thank you to everyone who joined us and to Pastor Shaunta' and the women of New Vision Ministries for inviting Tea Time Testimony to share. We are grateful for every testimony, every prayer, and every moment spent in His presence.

WHAT A TIME of fellowship with sisters and our Lord and Savior! Thank you both so much for your YES to God and to US as the beneficiaries of such service and love. I am so grateful to have experienced the crossover of two such places in my heart. Can’t wait for next month! May God continue to bless and keep you all! ❤️

My faith has been increased: ““Therefore, I say to you, don’t worry about your life, what you’ll eat or what you’ll drink, or about your body, what you’ll wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds in the sky. They don’t sow seed or harvest grain or gather crops into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth much more than they are? Who among you by worrying can add a single moment to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? Notice how the lilies in the field grow. They don’t wear themselves out with work, and they don’t spin cloth. But I say to you that even Solomon in all of his splendor wasn’t dressed like one of these. If God dresses grass in the field so beautifully, even though it’s alive today and tomorrow it’s thrown into the furnace, won’t God do much more for you, you people of weak faith? Therefore, don’t worry and say, ‘What are we going to eat?’ or ‘What are we going to drink?’ or ‘What are we going to wear?’ Gentiles long for all these things. Your heavenly Father knows that you need them. Instead, desire first and foremost God’s kingdom and God’s righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore, stop worrying about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭6:25-34‬ ‭CEB‬‬ https://bible.com/bible/37/mat.6.25-34.CEB

Proverbs 18:21 (AMP), "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, And those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words." I always tell my children that their words have power. I tell them to watch what they say and quote this Scripture. True story, last month I picked up my oldest daughter (Aubri) from drill team practice. She was tired from her long day of school and practice and was dreading going to school the next day. So this young lady says out of her mouth, "I never get sick. I wish I could get sick so I can have a day off." Y'all. Imagine the look on my face as my eyes got big and I turned to her to rebuke her words! I told her not to speak sickness over herself and reminded her that her words have power! Welp, needless to say, two days later, she was sick with a fever, chills, the whole nine, and had to stay home from school for two days! I took that moment to drive home the point (gently because she was sick) that death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it and indulge it will eat its fruit and bear the consequences of their words. I'm pretty sure I paraphrased it lol. The Lord also used this as a teaching moment for me, too. Not only NOT to speak death, but to also speak LIFE. Over my children, over my husband, over my family, over my situation, over my finances! Ladies, your words shape atmospheres. Speak life over yourself and your home. What truth do you need to declare today? If you feel led, please share in the comments 🧡 Blessings, Shavonne

Psalm 37:23-24 (AMP) "The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD, And He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. 24 When he falls, he will not be hurled down, Because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him." Today, reflect on your next obedient step. You don't have to see the whole staircase, Sis. Just take the next step in faith. Verse 24, "When he falls," not if, WHEN. Hardships will come. It's a part of life, but take heart knowing the Lord WILL sustain you, and He WILL keep you. What is God calling you to? Will you answer the call? Please share your thoughts in the comments. I love you ladies, God bless you, Shavonne
