Excited to Share: I Got a Job Offer in Germany 🙂
Living in Germany, I recently faced the challenge of losing my job — a difficult and uncertain time. But instead of giving up, I took action. I joined a resume and social profile update session, reflected on my skills and goals, and focused on moving forward. I'm very happy to share that I’ve now received and accepted a new job offer! The session was incredibly helpful in positioning myself better and highlighting my skills more effectively. Grateful for the support and encouragement from the community during this transition. @Ameenur Rahaman Servarr Basha - Thank you so much for all the guidance and support. Looking forward to this new chapter and the challenges ahead. Anyone currently searching: keep learning, improving, and connecting — the right opportunity will come. Let’s stay in touch and support one another!

Regarding opportunities after Master Thesis
Hello everyone! I would like to present this general question to the students who had completed their thesis at the university and looking for a full time role in German industries or have already landed a position. How was your experience completing a thesis in the university? Have you completed an internship at a company before you started your thesis? Did it hamper your opportunities for landing more interviews? I need some clarity regarding this matter as my university recommends me to complete thesis in an industrial environment, but I would also like to evaluate both the cases as I also have my student visa expiring soon! Due to the shortage of time, I would have to reconsider the options that I presently have. (I do understand that German industrial experience is very valuable and I have spent almost 8 months actively looking for internship/thesis before joining this community) Feel free to share your advices. Hope the feedbacks help me get some clarity in making good decisions and help other students like me in this community 🙂

Thank you for sharing this so openly and I can really relate to your situation, and I think a lot of students face the same crossroad. In my case, I did my thesis at the university, not in a company. While I also felt unsure at first, it turned out to be a good opportunity to dive deeper into my area of interest. However, I do believe that doing a thesis in an industrial environment can give you a clearer bridge into the job market. That said, not having an industry thesis doesn’t mean doors are closed. After my university thesis, I focused on building a strong application and tailoring it for roles where my academic project and work student experience was still relevant and eventually, that worked. I know others who’ve done the same. And if you do end up doing your thesis at a company, it’s completely okay to talk to your supervisor about possible future opportunities either during the interview or even once you’ve started working there. It doesn’t have to be pushy, just an open, honest conversation. Sometimes, those casual talks open real doors. Given your visa timeline, it’s totally understandable to weigh both options carefully. If you’ve already found a thesis topic in university that excites you and gives you time to apply for jobs right after, that can still be a strong path. But if there’s any chance to squeeze in an industry-based one (even if it’s a short-term collaboration), it might ease your job search a bit later. Yes, and I’d also add that each case is different ,it really depends on the company and the environment you're in. Some startups or smaller firms are often more flexible and open to offering full-time opportunities after a thesis, especially if they see potential and a good fit Wishing you the best with your decision . You're definitely not alone in this.
