Regarding opportunities after Master Thesis

Hello everyone! I would like to present this general question to the students who had completed their thesis at the university and looking for a full time role in German industries or have already landed a position.

How was your experience completing a thesis in the university?

Have you completed an internship at a company before you started your thesis?

Did it hamper your opportunities for landing more interviews?

I need some clarity regarding this matter as my university recommends me to complete thesis in an industrial environment, but I would also like to evaluate both the cases as I also have my student visa expiring soon! Due to the shortage of time, I would have to reconsider the options that I presently have.

(I do understand that German industrial experience is very valuable and I have spent almost 8 months actively looking for internship/thesis before joining this community)
