💰A Look into a 700k year on eBay💰
Had a great chat with the Resale Brothers, tons of good info on how they manage their 700k/YR eBay Business. Thoughts?

Great information! I have yet to look into whatnot. Poshmark was my favorite but with all the inaccurate AI information it wants to auto populate, maybe I should check it out. The only thought I have is about shows. Being a reseller and having to watch a 2 hour show and never see anything my size!?! Or watching an entire show of miscellaneous something has to pull me in. I need an entire show of my shoe size… or and entire show of jeans my size. Maybe you sell others this size? Maybe it’s just me and would be willing to hear other “watchers” of shows and what keeps them engaged. The posh shows I have had were themed. ( I have only done 6 lol, so I’m no expert) the ones that were successful were vintage costume jewelry & all kinds of diff dog stuff. I tried an Ohio State show, I tried a jacket show & shoe show.. also a few hodgepodges. No sales! Maybe it’s because I don’t have a following? Or could it be when someone pops in, they don’t see anything they want right away or worth the wait? My homework this week is to check out any shows you gentleman are doing! Thanks again for the video! Was easy to watch and kept my attention!
Which way do I go.. which way do I go…
Always been Poshmark fluent and dipping my toes in the water of other Avenues. eBay… and???? What do you like most? Why? Looking at Facebook Marketplace, whatnot… just unsure where to go from here!

Have you considered selling shoes
I sell most of my shoes on Depop. I list on eBay first, then cross list to Poshmark, Depop, and Mercari. Once you learn about shoes they are easy to list and sell. Do your research. I've been doing research on the different item specifics in eBay to help me create a better title and listing. Just like clothing, you need to check the STR. With shoes/boots the item specifics need to be more precise to get the best STR. I just listed 4 pairs of shoes on eBay and then cross listed. They are all preowned and listed between $40 ad $65, with a great STR. I found them at thrift stores I visited yesterday, an hour and a half from my house. I need to expand to get the good stuff.

I worked in shoes for 20 years and I LOVE selling them. If I could find a pallet of shoes or shoe returns, I would buy them all day long. People have a need for shoes. I don’t want to pay $100 for a pair of shoes either. If I try them on in store I always check eBay and other sites to make my purchase. So many folks have unworn or gently used shoes in home. If you can make a post to a local group to purchase or even yard sales( when that time comes) it never hurts. Converse clean or dirty always are a classic that sell. I might not make millions ( yet) but pay $3 to get $25… I’ll do that all day long. The black, red & white high tops always tend to sell.
When Life Gets in the Way Making a Living...
It as a little after 10 pm on my wife's birthday when one of our adult sons smelled smoke. The smoke detectors had not sounded so he went to check outside and I headed down the hall to check the garage. When I opened the door... HOLY SMOKES! (pun intended!) It took us 10 minutes to put the fire out and between the fire and the the smoke - it wiped out a lot of our 600 item ebay inventory. Plus... smoke damage thorough out the house. So we've spent the past 30 days cleaning, packing, storing, moving all our belongings and rebagging all our ebay inventory. Plus we bought a house and have gotten everything moved over to the new place... and most of it unpacked and sorta, kinda organized. :) ...and all the while, we've been averaging 4-6 sales a day. Feeling blessed despite the challenges (and over a dozen Berkenstocks burned up!)

Oh no!!!!!! Glad everyone’s ok! Hopefully you can have some of the items covered under insurance!
Sometimes Life gives you Lemons.
That is a saying I never thought I would say. Sometimes God puts you in positions where you either need to Rise up or Give up. There is no in between. That is where I am at Life has forced a decision to either go more fully into reselling to have money to pay bills or give it up and go get a job. I have decided to put all my things on Ebay on a 30% off sale. I have decided to run more Whatnot Sales. I will find a way to make the money with reselling. I may not sleep for the next few weeks. I will not fail with Gods help. I will not Give up I will not give in and I will praise my God even in my despair and he will help me.

God always provides! Sometimes we don’t know our direction or our path. I have felt the exact same way you have! If you want any tips, here is a good one: I have supplemented my income by getting creative and offering my support to others for their reselling needs as well! Friends, family and strangers. They don’t have the time or want to bother with getting rid of their unwanted items. Selling on Facebook marketplace locally for folks has also helped supplement my income in times of need! Ellipticals, furniture and slabs of butcher block. I currently have a commercial garage door for sale for someone.( if anyone needs this lmk lol) Keep your focus and always look up when you feel anxious! God is so good!
