When Life Gets in the Way Making a Living...
It as a little after 10 pm on my wife's birthday when one of our adult sons smelled smoke. The smoke detectors had not sounded so he went to check outside and I headed down the hall to check the garage. When I opened the door... HOLY SMOKES! (pun intended!)
It took us 10 minutes to put the fire out and between the fire and the the smoke - it wiped out a lot of our 600 item ebay inventory. Plus... smoke damage thorough out the house.
So we've spent the past 30 days cleaning, packing, storing, moving all our belongings and rebagging all our ebay inventory.
Plus we bought a house and have gotten everything moved over to the new place... and most of it unpacked and sorta, kinda organized. :)
...and all the while, we've been averaging 4-6 sales a day.
Feeling blessed despite the challenges (and over a dozen Berkenstocks burned up!)
