The moment I almost walked away. đ¶ââïž
There are season for everything ....... like lettuce, brassicas, corn, tomatoes, eggplants and grapes đ. The seasons come and go and sometimes things go as planned and sometimes they don't. This was a tough winter for sure. The holidays aren't usually tough for me but it's been some time since i had been home (Texas not Germany) and i was feeling pretty down and the Las Vegas Worm Farm (LVWF) was bleeding money đČđČ. I had already been wondering whether i should keep doing Living Soil Community (LSC) or LVWF for a while. Then in January the shade structure at the LVWF collapsed and i felt the weight of the world just leaning on me a bit more. This made me really think should i let LVWF go and go all in on LSC? I have had thoughts of stopping both LSC and LVWF before but nothing like this. This time the thoughts lingered and stayed for a while. đđ If that wasn't enough we then had a uninvited and unannounced house guest that (in my opinion) shouldnt have been in our home at all. This made things uncomfortable and i was at my breaking point đ€Źđ€Ź. Yea...there's more......If that wasn't enough i found out that my license was suspended and had been for 5 years!!!! Yea....i know it suprised me to and because i never changed my address I had no clue. So now with everything going on I also had to rely on my wife and father-in-law for everything! I was at the end of my rope....I was sinking....with no life vest....and no hope.đđ To make matters worse the DMV in Nevada (in my opinion) is F&#@ing S@!% and i hate that place with everything in my body. We all go through things in our lives...in our gardens and on our farms. Its not the end but it is a hurdle and some races have more and bigger hurdles than others. Its not how we start the race or how we run the race its about how we finish. I LOVE my wife and without her support I just couldnt do things like be here helping ya'll grow and create the best garden or farms. Gardening has its issues too. Unseasonable weather, crappy soil, no good compost or worm castings in the area, pests, disease and many other things but its not the end. These are just hurdles that we have to over come and many of these will get better with a living soil and some will go away completely.
