While not my personal project I have participated. It is a fun challenge. They send you the 6x6 canvas and a limited palette depending on where they plan to put you in the mural. After that, it's all you. Some months later your painting is turned into a tile and added to the mural. I've circled my three. I just want to take a moment to say Thank You~!!! This community is growing slowly, intentionally, and with so much care~ exactly how I hoped it would. ACI was never about chasing numbers. It’s about building a space where artists feel supported, seen, and encouraged to grow at their own pace. We meet you where you are, and we'll start from there. Finished my commissions that I’ve gotten so far! (hopefully a few more roll in!) these were definitely a challenge, because I don’t normally paint these type of things. It was nice to push my boundaries and create something successful! What types of subjects do you normally avoid? What do you do to push your creative limits?
