Can anyone vouch for the "Synthesizer" group?
Seriously looking for real third-party experiences here. So far, I'm not impressed. Telemarketing turns me off from the jump. I agreed to a meeting, and they asked me to watch their promo material first. The prep material consisted of a 25-brag claim with no factual, verifiable details, and the first video they had me watch in the classroom was an hour-long meandering diatribe that went nowhere. It looks and smells like every other get-rich-quick scam. Are any of my members able to vouch for them firsthand? Apparently, one of the admins is "Skool personality" Andrew Kirby, and he does their community intro video, which is supposed to lend credibility, but I don't care. Smells really fishy. I am not sharing their links here; I do not want to bring anyone else into a group that I do not trust. Also, using telemarketing seems really off-brand for Skool. It's outdated and no one likes it, so why are they interrupting my workday to try and sell me some ephemeral service?

It’s one of the first and most established communities on Skool, with a ton of success stories. They share the roadmap for free, and if you follow it you will see results. They also sell their high ticket scaling for those looking for some accountability and hand-holding. I’m sure phone calls you haven’t agreed to are annoying, but it should be no problem to decline those.

@Mike Gagnon I see. That's a completely legitimate position, no need to make a business out of your creative art. Just turn down any offers they make or leave the group altogether.
Saturday Morning Cartoons
Happy Shaturday to all of my wonderful creators in the community. BTW that makes me wonder....what should we call ourselves? Like a group nickname. Lady Gaga has her little monsters and The Creators Union has ________ Open to suggestions. I'll revisit this with a poll sometime.

The Night of the Living Dead 1968
If you haven't checked out our course, The Art of the Undead Story, you're missing out on a ton of great reference content. #Introduction- Words of the Undead This is just one of the videos included in the bonus reference material. Have you ever seen Romero's original "The Night of the Living Dead"? If not, you've been missing out, but you can go ahead and click on this video and enjoy the vintage horror treat, which is public domain, so I can share the entire film here! Enjoy!

Hello, I'm Kris. I am a typographic designer, making books and publications. Figuring out how to share my passion for typefaces and the craft of making the page nice. I live in Stockholm.
Members, I need your opinion
Hey guys. I’d love your advice and opinions. I want to make sure that The Creators Union is s fair, equal and valuable resource. Today I read a post in another community about making sure that your levels, content and options are an incentive, not a barrier for users to access valuable content. That is something I’m always concerned with. With the new tiers options, I thought it would be a great option, and allow me to create a level playing field where those who wanted to access VIP and Premium content, but couldn’t afford yo pay a monthly fee could access that content by being more active in the community and unlocking at a particular level. I know a lot of Skool is geared towards maximizing revenue or monthly income and often it’s about monetizing your hobbies and interests. That doesn’t resonate with me. I don’t care if I become a top MRR earner on Skool. Not at all. I want to teach and provide content that helps people. I was leery of the tier system before it was even live, because I didn’t want to create a class level system based on those who could afford higher priced content and who couldn’t. I’m still mot convinced that it won’t do that. Maybe I’m overthinking it. Maybe I should simplify things and just make all content and features available for one flat purchase price and unlockable at a certain level, so that anyone can unlock a feature with enough activity, or just pay once for content that they want, if they don’t want to put the time and energy to invest on activity participation. What do you think? What has worked in your own communities? What has your experience been with tiers and paid content?

I'm struggling with this myself. I can add that paying for something actually can make people more invested (because they are…), more active and more appreciative. So that can be an incentive in itself.
