THE 5-MINUTE LONGFORM FIX TO SKYROCKET YOUR VIDEOS (MrBeast Style)
😩Most creators fail in the first 60 seconds. Here’s how to fix that—step by step. (Apply this to every long-form [and shortform] video) 1️⃣Know the Title & Thumbnail FIRST Before scripting or filming, ask: “What is the viewer expecting when they click?” The opening shot must match the promise of the title/thumbnail—or people click off. 2️⃣Frontload the First 60 Seconds Hook immediately. Use high-quality visuals, suspense, or an unexpected moment. Treat this like the “trailer” of your video—what’s the payoff and why should they care? 3️⃣Build Rapid Progression (1–3 Minutes) Cover more ground quickly. Don’t get stuck in the weeds—show the story moving fast so viewers feel like they’re getting value or excitement non-stop. 4️⃣Re-Engage Around the 3-Minute Mark Drop a “wow” moment or a twist. This could be a surprising upgrade, a crazy development, or a visual spectacle. 5️⃣Never Signal the End Too Early Even the ending needs tension. No wind-downs—end abruptly after a satisfying payoff to preserve retention. 📈If you only apply this one framework to your content, you’ll already be ahead of 90% of creators.

How do I apply this if many of my longform videos so far have been childhood cancer support broadcasts, featuring (with parental permission, of course!) a child cancer warrior's photo, story and (if the family has one) fundraising link, while sharing God's Word, singing and playing to encourage prayer, faith, and support? The formula you're giving seems great, and I want to reach more people for Jesus and for the good of these kids and their families by getting more views, but I'm afraid of coming off cheesy and promotional, as if I were exploiting the horrible battles they were going through for the sake of publicity. More than that, I especially want to avoid coming off as if I were exploiting Jesus that way! By the way, I should also note that once I get to the point--Lord willing--of monetization, I don't at all want to monetize the videos made in support of cancer warriors, because (1) I don't want to profit from what these kids and their families are undergoing and because (2) even if I were to dedicate the money from these videos to them, there would be no way for people to verify that it was all going from them, rather than me dishonestly holding some of it back.
Multiple channels
Evangelist @Taylan Seaman, I'm wondering...you want us to set up our profiles on the various platforms. I have multiple YouTube channels already, all with way under 100 subscribers. How do I decide which one to use for this?
Consistency Pays Off – From 0 Sales to $4K/Month
Wanted to quickly share a bit of my journey for those who might be in a similar phase right now. For the last 4-5 months, I struggled with little to no sales, and as a mother of two, It was a frustrating period, especially when i was not not making sales from my brand then i almost switched to 9-5 job so has to take care of my two kids, then i started trying different approaches, refining my offer, and staying consistent despite seeing no immediate return. But I then later stayed in the game. Over time, things started to shift. Sales began coming in gradually, and since last month ending till date, I've hit an average of $4K in revenue. It’s not “overnight success” — it’s been a process of testing, iterating, and staying focused even when results weren’t visible. Grateful to God for the progress, and even more grateful for the lessons learned in the slower months. If you're currently in the building phase — trust the process, refine your strategy, and keep executing. The results do come.
