(Daily devotional from MASTER SPEAK THY SERVANT HEARS by AL Adeluwoye). “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful;” (Psalm 1:1 NKJV) My child, blessings come when you make wise choices about the things and people that influence you. It doesn’t mean avoiding people completely, but it does mean not letting sinful attitudes, actions, or advice lead you away from Me. Walking in the counsel of the wicked means listening to advice that goes against My ways. Standing in the way of sinners means picking up sinful habits or behaviors. Sitting with those who mock or dishonor Me means becoming comfortable in an environment where I am ignored. Surround yourself with decent people. Peace be with you.
