Is There a Chance to Start All Over at 56?
At 56, it’s not too late to begin again—it’s the perfect time to rise. I’ve met so many people who think their story is over by this age, and they’re wrong. Colonel Harland Sanders built KFC in his 60s after being rejected over a thousand times. Ray Kroc turned McDonald’s into a global empire in his 50s. Bernie Marcus got fired at 50 and then co-founded Home Depot. I’ve had to start over too. I shut down a massive website with over 100,000 pages to build something that actually inspired me—this YouTube channel. Reinvention isn’t just possible at 56. It’s powerful. What’s Your Proud Moment?
What’s one thing you did this week that you’re truly proud of? It doesn’t have to be big—small steps count when you’re moving toward your goals. Share it below and let’s give you some applause.

I got my MIDI interface connected to my piano keyboard and computer so I'll be able to compose and arrange quickly by playing the notes into the computer
The Secret to Momentum Isn’t Motivation: It's Micro Wins
Most people think success comes from huge leaps, but in reality, it’s the tiny, consistent wins that build unstoppable momentum. Here’s a strategy I’ve used and shared with other entrepreneurs: - Break your big goal into 15-minute daily actions. - Track and celebrate each small win (even sending that one email or making that one call). - Stack those wins, and you’ll find yourself building confidence and progress faster than you imagined. Motivation fades, but momentum compounds, and momentum is what keeps you moving when things get tough. What’s one “micro win” you can commit to today that would bring you closer to your bigger vision?

Using the small blocks of time available, instead of wasting them while I wait for bigger ones
Get To Know You Better... September 2025 Edition!
1) Would you rather work from a treehouse with great Wi-Fi or a cozy cabin with endless snacks? 2) What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened to you on Zoom (or during a meeting)? 3) What’s something you enjoyed working on recently?

1) Currently, as a single man, the treehouse because the snacks would be distracting. Lord willing, my girlfriend and I are heading for marriage, which would change my answer for after the wedding because a treehouse would be way too small for the two of us and her foster son, and because they deserve a nicer place than a treehouse. 2) I've had some online students give some pretty amusing answers during lessons. 3) "Christmas with Jacob Marley: A New Take on Dickens' Christmas Carol," an in-progress Christian theatrical script that I hope and pray some Christian schools and churches will produce, whether I'm able to finish the script in time for this year, or whether production may have to wait for next year. Whether it gets produced as a play or not, it can also be diversified to other forms of ministry (and possible sources of income in the process, since ministry is more important but I also need income).
