I did one ad set for each of the three images. I'm just pasting one ad set and ad creative below for review. Thanks!

I started running my ads Monday 11/17. The pretty witch started at 65c and came down to around 30c. The Charmed ad was doing fantastic at like 16c and lots of clicks then Facebook changed it to maximize landing page views yesterday and so all my clicks and cost info disappeared for that ad in Ad Manager. I'll give it three days and switch it back. But this has happened before, and Facebook will just switch it back to landing page views again. I hate this AI crap. At least the attribution links track my clicks. Only 1 buy so far but it usually takes a week or so to get a good vies.
Genre and Trope Recordings
For those who can't make the calls live, all of the call recordings live here: https://www.skool.com/thewritingwives/classroom/a97afb89?md=f7289c0a2d4644de8f5a2bac21f390c4 You can also find them by looking in the classroom tab, the scrolling to Genre and Trope 2025 Edition and clicking on it. It looks like this:

@Danica Favorite Thank you!
Question, Friends!
Hello Authors and Friends! If I were to post more classrooms on teaching AI for writing, images, and marketing, do you think it should be in Storyteller Lab (here) or should it be separated out into it's own separate Skool classroom? I don't want to turn anyone off from Storyteller Lab if AI is not welcome but I don't want to make you signup for another Skool platform, either. Please vote here so we can see how everyone feels!

I think it's fine to keep it here just clearly tag it with AI.
AI written ad spamming for book trailers
Anyone else running a bunch of ads and seeing a constant deluge of emails from fake book clubs wanting to “feature” your book on their scheduled book talk. It’s clearly AI driven because there’s just enough details from the amazon product description to tie the book to me. What I don’t know is how they’re connecting my author email address with the books I’m selling. Clearly the AI is doing this in a mass manner, hitting as many authors as possible with just enough authentic book details to make it look real Obviously, I’ve deleted all of these fakes without responding. AI can make us more productive, but it also makes the scammers more productive. Le sigh. A new world.

Yup. I move 3-5 emails a day into junk. It's super annoying and wasting my time.
Homework thread
For week of 11/3 post your homework in here. Bonus points rewarded for making a reel!

@Paola M I like the still image with the computer, the bird and the girl. I think it conveys the key tropes well. The first reel gives me great highlights and makes me want to click and find out more. The second reel is good for character intro and banter. I don't feel like I know what the story is though--could even be vampire romance? But I would still click to find out more.

@Ra Steffan I think this is a me issue. I read more sweet steamy omegaverse. So I was actively looking for that. The text on the image with the book in the chain made me think BDSM, but then the ball and chain made me think possibly a pun about being stuck with someone. If the ball wasn't there and just the chain--then I think that image would be BDSM 100%. The first still image is clear it's got darker themes. I think that one is super clear.
