Hello Felix. I have posted this one-string instrument video in the group because of you. Enjoy! Se the post above or here: https://www.skool.com/rhythm-feeling-good-academy-5021/kouame-sereba-playing-the-dodo-a-concert-in-oslo-norway?p=5952cb7e
Kouame Sereba Playing the Dodo. A concert in Oslo, Norway
I poste this video because our dear friend and first member of this community Felix Gonzales from Puerto Rico, posted in his introduction poste that he love percussion and string instruments. The instrument I'm playing in this video is called Dodo. An old African musical instrument I play sense I was young.
Welcome! Zikalo Spirit — Everybody Joins In 🌍🥁💚
Welcome to Drum & Feeling Good Academy — a community where rhythm, joy, and inner transformation meet. Here we practice two powerful things together: 🥁 Rhythm for the body (drumming, pulse, groove, timing) ❤️ Feeling good for the soul (simple practices from The Power of Feeling Good) In West Africa, where I grew up, Zikalo means music where everybody joins in. That is the spirit here. Rhythm is not only for a gifted few — it is alive in everyone. You can learn with a djembe, but also with a table, bucket, or your own body. Come as you are. How to start (3 simple steps) 1. Introduce yourself: Where are you joining from, and what’s your rhythm level? 2. Introduce yourself: Where are you joining from, and what’s your rhythm level? 3. Tell us your goal: What do you want more of right now — rhythm skills, confidence, joy, calm, consistency? What to expect inside: - Weekly rhythm challenges - Practice posts + feedback - Feeling Good prompts (short, practical, uplifting) - Live sessions (announced in advance) - A warm circle where we support each other ✅ This is not about perfection. It’s about practice, presence, and progress. I’m happy you’re here. Let’s play — and feel good — together. Kouame Sereba 🙏🏾🥁💚
