Every Day Carry Watch Kit
It’s not really EVERY DAY, but there have been multiple occasions requiring me to pack up a little go kit for watches (my brother asks me to drop by and adjust a strap, a co-worker wants me to have a look, etc.). Inspired by the ethos of every day carry, I searched my gear for duplicates that could reasonably stay packed. The Bergeon/Swiss army case back remover is the pivotal piece. A great caseback tool plus a blade. Right next to that is a springbar and pin tool with a cheat upgrade; the tool was from a cheap Ali Express kit, but the tips are Bergeon replacements. I modified a corkscrew to hold two Victorinox mini tools. The red tool is a press. Sometimes a freehand push of a strap pin feels a little reckless. This offers more control. The Buck multi-tool picks up a number of other utilities. Finally, the pouch allows me to transport a watch in the kit without fear of scratching it in the tools. It was fun making it. I hope I get to use it soon.
