Got my first paid client. :)
This is the website I created for them — pikolhaus.com. Small start, but officially my first real client project. More to come.

Looking good! Did my Web Developer tool "looking around" and the site is well structured and clean at first glance. Your branding and personal tag on your "powered by" website is inspiring as well! This is a big achievement and I hope you continue to find more as you continue your work! Hopin' to follow right behind you with my own works in the near future!
Reverse Engineering Anything: Bane of Corporations or Bane of All?
I'm normally one to not want to doom and gloom immediately; Technology has been my life for as long as I can remember since being a kid. I do have ambitions of being a powerful and reasonable provider of tools, services and experiences in the digital and physical mediums out there. But knowing that REA (Reverse Engineer Anything) exists and seeing the mass "gold rush" of Game Development is rampant now that nearly anyone with enough dedication and experience in their domain knowledge can create scalable enterprise products in just a few weeks, it makes me wonder if pushing the way I am towards having my own company and serving people with products I carefully engineer is worth the effort when the next week someone could decide to copy it with uncanny accuracy. If it can happen to ignorant or outright neglectful mega corporations it can happen to anyone. Just thinking out loud a little bit here, but despite my hybrid perspective of AI this does create some doubt or resistance that this kind or this way of working towards making a name and livelihood for myself is the one if it's so easily duplicatable. Would my mind and my ways of thinking be enough distinction, convincing, or attraction to a community and customers to stick around or is everyone simply going to build what they want when they want? What do you think? https://www.threads.com/share/BAW8rlqICe/
Dirty Laundry - Time for some housecleaning
Hey everyone, gather round. This one matters. 👋 We've been watching something, and it's time to name it. 🧭 The ICM posts, the AI breakdowns, the promo threads: solid work. Real value. No fluff. But some of those posts have a quiet second job: funneling traffic to something the author gets paid for. 🚨 Let's be precise about the line: Someone shares a great external resource? Fine. That's the good stuff. Someone shares their own work with no money in it, a free repo or an open tool? Fine too. That's building in public. Someone links their own COMPENSATED property (affiliate, referral, lead capture) so they personally benefit? Different animal entirely. 🐍 That's not sharing. That's extraction with a costume on. And it costs us. Every time: 📉 Trust drops. 🤐 High-quality members post less. 🔍 The signal gets harder to find. 📉 The feed gets noisier and less worth showing up for, even when the writing itself looks good. ➖➖➖ 📏 THE RULE, NOW OFFICIAL Simple. And let's be clear about what it is NOT. 🔗 Sharing useful external resources like a YouTube video, a guide, a tool you love? TOTALLY FINE. Keep them coming. That's the good stuff. What's NOT allowed: 1️⃣ LINKING ANYTHING YOU PERSONALLY BENEFIT FROM: affiliate cuts, referral bounties, lead capture. If personal gain is the engine, it doesn't fly here. 2️⃣ POSTS THAT ONLY EXIST TO FUNNEL TRAFFIC TO THAT STUFF. If the value lives behind your link instead of in the post, that's an ad, not a contribution. This applies to posts and comments, everywhere except the Connection Hub. Wanna pitch or network? Take it to the Connection Hub, and keep your links in your PROFILE. People click your name. They find it. That's the clean path. Think you're the rare exception? Ask a moderator first (@David Vogel or @Shirsho Guha). ⚠️ Fair warning: the default is no. ➖➖➖ ⚖️ WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU CROSS THE LINE No drama. No mystery. Just math: ⚠️ FIRST TIME: a moderator reaches out, and you edit or remove the post yourself. ⚠️ SECOND TIME: the post comes down, and you get a formal warning.

A completely fair policy. This place is free to be and Cleif could have easily put a price on it at a base "ticket to ride" if he wanted to given his decades of work and building. I'm grateful he didn't and appreciate the clear announcement about what you can and can't do when it comes to solopreneuring or ambition of people trying to make their own livelihoods with things they make. Looking forward to contributing meaningfully, keeping up with my ambition, giving back and making my way in life in the process the fair and by-the-rules way.
Restructuring from Claude Projects to a "ICM/Agentic-Ready" Repository
I got excited about the Projects feature of Claude some time ago at a point well before joining Clief Notes or imagining and seeing what was possible with AI from here or from the GlitchCatClub community. I now realize that because I think about categorization of some information differently I place items that talk about a "same thing" but the different disciplines of it from Programming, to Design, or Game Engine usage to name a few are separated from each other. How can I pull what I have "down", perhaps gather it into a heap and invest some time creating a more future-proof foundation for my work and ambition as a creator?
Claude Just Replaced Video Editing
Made this reel 100% with Claude. No After Effects, no Premiere. $0 outside my Claude subscription. A year ago I'd have said this was impossible. Now it's a day of setup. Here is the full setup: https://youtu.be/WzfRaXuEO7c?si=g-QqJ-m4Xwm6njQx

😮 This is fascinating to me! Definitely have to learn from this and I'm already taking away some valuable notes with how you described the "rules" of the problem to solve and explained the common patterns of it as targets to automate. If I wanted to apply a similar strategy to content as a Gamer, Game Development, and Web Developer creator I imagine I'd need to make and "feed" my own footage into the "team", right?
