Hello there. My name is Kim. I am a GP and ER veterinarian and recent partner in a 24 hour small animal clinic. I am a mom to one human and two small pups. I found this site after listening to the VetGirl CE. What great information from Aaron. I am a gym rat, since junior high (when my dad was dragging me there). I am a bit older now and trying to thrive in my 23rd year of veterinary medicine and 50th year of life. I have definitely had to pivot my training with age and all and have been dialing in on my health and wellness goals. I hate to see so very few team members around me taking care of themselves. I have been making an effort with monthly staff meetings to include a "human health minute". I have been picking a journal article or podcast to highlight. It is tough to walk the line of not being a human doctor and giving medical advise but generally want to see my staff healthier, happier, and thriving in vet med.
