@Jessica Rietjens I’m likely getting involved too. I don’t want to overwhelm myself (I already have a lot going on) but I’m thinking about something light like assisting the guy that does social media or joining a committee.

@Billy Daniel To me, it’s definitely worth it. My chapter’s fee is only $50 a year. That’s just a little over $4 a month. I can’t get a month’s worth of anything else for that. So the price is extremely reasonable. Also I live in Memphis, a blue collar city. There’s definitely some white collar professionals here but I rarely get to meet people who understand L&D and that I can actually talk to about it. So it’s refreshing to find a group of them and we have vented and opportunities to talk.
