Etsy variations
Hi all, I'm eagerly awaiting the potential introduction of 3 variations on Etsy to support the type of prints I'm producing, as I'm looking to use the two variations offered by PrintShrimp (size and frame) but also colour. On a quick google it looks like it will be rolled out for trial tomorrow (17th Aug) and just wondered if anyone is doing it, or also if anyone has experience of adding a 3rd variation and making this work with PS? Many thanks

Help! Listing multiple variations on Etsy
I'm new to PrintShrimp and could do with some advice on setting up Etsy listings with multiple variations. I've created a series of typography prints, with each design available in 9 colourways, multiple sizes and frame options. Because Etsy only allows 2 variation types, PrintShrimp have advised me to combine the colour options with either the frame or size options so that unique SKU codes can be generated. This is where I'm getting stuck. Even for one design, combining all the sizes, frames and colours creates a huge number of variations, and I'm struggling to work out the best way to structure it. I have 20 different designs in the series, so I don't really want to create a separate listing for each colourway (that would mean 180 listings!). Has anyone found a good way of managing colour variations with PrintShrimp and Etsy? I'd love to know how you've structured your listings. If not, has anyone used a freelancer or Etsy expert to help get their shop set up that they'd recommend? Thanks in advance!

Hi Jean, thanks for your quick response. So my posters are basically like the below. Each phrase ('could be worse' as one) comes in the 9 different colour variations. I'd be happy to keep to size and frame, and did see that you could add an option - where I can ask buyers to select colour choice. The problem is in the back end; if I do colour choice as an option rather than a variation, it doesn't generate the SKU code that PrintShrimp needs to understand what colour choice the person has made (for example one would be teal, caramel, blue etc). Does that make sense?

ignore the colour block at the bottom of the triple frame, it should have words in it but for some reason didn't render correctly
