Help with selling
Hi everyone, I was just looking to see if my progress was relatable as I've been doing my best to post 3 to 5 new posters everyday and still have no orders in 2 months. I've only received 3 scam messages and i'm already doing $5 a day on ads. I feel i'm missing something but I can't create more than I'm already doing at the minute. Should I continue ads? increase the price? or stop and focus on creating? Open to any tips.

etsy reviews
hi guys, does anyone know the best way to get customers to eave reviews?

Create stunning beautiful designs, get your orders shipped quickly and give your customers world class customer service. Asking also helps. I used to be so annoyed in the beginning that customers would write me lovely messages about the print they received but not leave a review. So I started asking them to do so as a matter of course. Consequently, my ratio of reviews to sales stands at some 21.4% currently which is quite pleasing. Good luck!

We have just made every single size in the USA cheaper! We really do try our best to bring you guys fairly priced print on demand - of course without compromising on quality FYI - due to the way this location operates, production time on US orders will now be 1-2 day working days :) Take a look at the new prices here: https://www.printshrimp.com/pricing These are all also now live in the portal. @Steve Kayser Hi Steve. First of all I apologize for my sarcasm in my previous post. Something put me in a devilish mood yesterday and I childishly took my annoyance out on your post! Sorry :-( You are right in that annoyingly, it cannot be done in any other way other by changing by percentage. That is a HUGE flaw in Etsy's system for doing it in that manner causes all sorts of potential problems etc. In an ideal world we would be able to adjust prices manual to our exact requirements in a pricing grid and then we should be able to implement those manually adjusted prices across the board (or at least across selected listings) at the click of a button. But no, we can only change it as a percentage. Mihai talks of possible forthcoming options to do so with the use of external applications but I cannot help you with any of that I am afraid for I don't use any external apps and I know nothing about them. I have emailed Etsy several times about this flaw with no response. Please do the same in the hope that it will get them to change/improve it to a far more flexible and user friendly system. Athe best :-)
Just hit 250 sales!!!
Really proud to have hit 250 sales on my main store after 139 days on etsy or about 4 months. Just hit 430 listings as well and I'm now averaging a cool 400-500 views per day, $5 per day ad budget, averaging 3-4 sales per day and in this last 30 day period ive made about £672 profit assuming my profit margin to be the same as previous months which is about 33% (lower than id initially hoped but I guess beggars can't be choosers). Definitely can't wait to scale this, my views and sales seem to go up as a straight line graph with the amount of listings I list. Can't begin to imagine what I'll be hitting if I have 1000+ listings or like one of toms stores over 3300 listings! Moral of the story: keep at it and you'll reap the rewards. Also massive shoutout to Tom for always being on the ball with the emails whenever there is a problem. I'm really jealous of what you've achieved with printshrimp in such a short time. Proper entrepreneurs you two.

@Mihai Volintiriu I would suggest you are wiser too my friend. Once Etsy ban you you over copyright infringements you will NEVER get back on. It happened to a friend of mine who after 18 months on Etsy was selling £7k per month of wall art with 40% margin. Why risk all the hard work and effort to end up with nothing? Each to their own of course but I would rather make £1k profit per month with no risks than £3k per month knowing it could end any day....

@Simon Knopf Yayoi Kusama is still alive. OK she is 97 years old but, by the grace of God, she is still with us. This means that all of her work is copyrighted. FYI other people's artwork does not become public domain (i.e. free of copyright) until they have been dead for 70 years. OK, unlike many corporations, she probably does not pay highbrow lawyers to survey the market and protect her copyrights aggressively but her work is copyrighted my friend. In lieu of that you are in serious risk of getting copyright strikes from Etsy. I really don't want to rain on your parade and I genuinely wish you all the very best but you have now seen the potential Etsy offers to generate a decent income. Removing your Kusama art will probably reduce that income in the short term but I promise you that you would be best served in the long run by steering well clear of any potential copyright infringements for as sure as night turns to day, they will bite you in due course. There may well be millions of other people selling her artwork on Etsy but if you value your Etsy store and if you view it as having long term income potential for yourself then you need to be very careful... Wishing you all the best, Jayne
