We got 14 eggs for the first time in forever the other day. Now getting a decent amount since the weather has warmed a tad. Much better than the 1-2 we were getting! Def looking forward to more spring weather and it’s warming up quick here in Texas. Hope you’re all starting to see some spring come your way!
I’ve had a sorted chickens now for about five years, but I just got my first Sea Bright bantam. It is a rooster. Does anyone know if they need special attention or can he free range with the rest of them? I have three other roosters.
We had to give up Lucky roo 😭😭😭 The girls are all over the place. They started laying eggs outside the nesting box. How do I get them to lay back again in the nests and not all over the coop? . 🤔
Leave them in the coop longer. They are a creature of habit and will start laying in the same spot. Usually they all want THE same spot. I had 3 ( one on top of the other) in a 5gallon bucket because that’s where they liked to lay. Crazy birds
Oatmeal or grits! They love them. Also dogfood. The dogs and cats can not be fed outside. The chicken don’t care who you are. They are gonna eat the dogfood
