Family History Journal
As a genealogist myself, I really enjoyed @lisalisson ‘s presentation on DIY family journal gifts and her suggestion about including family recipes. I made one a few years back for my eldest son, who is a professional chef. It had photos of each set of his grandparents for as far back as I could go. It also had some of their recipes and pics of their favorite culinary tools, some of which are currently in my possession. I’ve included a few pics from that journal. I’m starting another family recipe journal this year, for my stepdaughter (pink). It’s still in the early phases (see pic).
