I reviewed all my Threads content last month (and hereโ€™s what I found)
Every week I run a Hall of Fame session where I pull the top 10% of my Threads content, review the data, and then work with Notion AI to analyze the patterns. This week I asked: "What are the 5 most important things my community should learn from the last month of content?" Hereโ€™s what we found: 1. Affinity content is the fastest path to followers and subscribers. 2. Over-stacking qualifiers kills your reach. 3. Storytelling wins with universal tension. 4. Educational content only converts when you teach "insights". 5. Your CTAs need to be congruent with your post content. Iโ€™ll walk you through it live inside my Notion writing database. Itโ€™s worth 10 minutes of your time if youโ€™re serious about growing on threads this week.

@Nadine West this is a solid direction to go in. I basically use Notion as the knowledge database and then either Notion ai or Claude to reference it. One could do the same with Google drive or something similar if they prefer. But I like the visual system Iโ€™ve built in Notion. Do you store much in Notion yet? And have you setup the MCP connection between Notion and Claude?

Originally from Ireland and now living in Mรกlaga, Spain (yes, the weather is as good as you think it is โ˜€๏ธ) My background is in running a marketing agency for three years, working mainly with construction clients. I built it, grew it, and eventually sold it, but honestly? I got burnt out. Client work is relentless and I reached a point where I knew I wanted something different. The thing that kept pulling me back was marketing graduates. Because I remember exactly what it felt like starting out completely lost, nobody really showing you how it all works in the real world, just kind of figuring it out on your own. So instead of taking on more clients, I decided to build something that actually felt meaningful a community and training business focused on helping marketing graduates and people early in their careers get real skills, real confidence, and real jobs. That's what MarketSphere is. We also have another B2B branch that I'm looking to start where I train companies staff on how to build an effective marketing system. I hope you mean pickleball (cause that's my favorite). This is totally awesome Cian. Looks like we've got quite a bit in common. I also do quite a bit of work marketing for folks in the construction space. It's super cool what you're doing with MarketSphere and honestly I think I can learn a lot about building an effective community from you. Glad to be connected.

The Nature of Marketing has a new look!
Iโ€™ve recently changed the about page banner. And Iโ€™ve just now changed the group icon to match. Not because the old icon was bad (no, in fact itโ€™s really good imo). But I also use it as the favicon for my main site and daily email newsletter. So itโ€™s confusing to me to navigate sometimes. So I made it easier by making the icons different. Just mentioning it so folks donโ€™t get lost. What branding blunders have you encountered recently that youโ€™ve struggled to find suitable solutions for early on?
