Been having some powerful experiences recently spending time with the mother within. Always holding me, and whispering from behind the veil, inspiring me to take good care of myself... and actually doing it. And thank you to Alex and this community for cultivating a space that encourages whimsy and vulnerability. A place where I can work through my deep fear of being seen, and have fun doing it. So heres some art that exposes my heart.

Character sketches for a comic I'm working on. Its titled 'The Never-Ending Self'. Illustrating an experience I had in therapy while doing parts work. I met many different aspects of myself and got taken on quite a journey. As a child I loved to tell, write, and illustrate stories, but somewhere along the way I took on the belief that I was incapable of doing that. So after doing a lot of healing in that area recently, I'm putting this story together to help integrate that, and trying to do my best to show my process in order to train my nervous system that it is safe to share.

Here’s some recent paintings I did as gifts for friends and family. For birthdays and holidays I often tell myself that I’m just gunna buy them something but I always find myself up late the night before painting something for them.
