I’m 62 years old and have always wanted to learn to play guitar. I saw your YouTube videos and decided to check out the community. I took some lessons with a local teacher but it just didn’t work for me. I want to learn whole songs and he just wanted to teach me a different riff each week. Instead of concentrating on getting that riff down he would teach a different riff. I never really learned anything because I felt it wasn’t focused enough for me. Hopefully I can this will help me focus more and learn more.

I saw your Fret School videos on YouTube. I watched the pencil video and I have been practicing the technique that you discussed. I like a variety of music I would like to learn a song just to feel like I am progressing it may take me some time to get the song down my left hand gets tired so I have to pace myself. I guess we could do a google meet. I only have an Android pad with a camera and I’m not sure how the timing would work. I’m in Texas and you’re across the pond. I’m probably working while you’re sleeping. I have been trying to learn “Hanging by a moment” by the group Lifehouse. Just FYI. Have a great evening .
