I think it’s more clear when you understand the Latin - Lux Eterna means eternal light. It’s amazing as you get older. You start to understand the things that influence and hit you hard are reflection of our own perception. Metallica hit different when I was 25 than when I’m 52. Today that song is talking about for me the 90s and we all still have it if we want it the eternal light, that spirit that touches us all in our adolescence whether you’re in the 90s the 2000s the 1970s.
