Happy Musical Monday Everyone!
Today is the start of a new week, which’s means a new mindset and new goals! I want everyone to pick one concept or practise on the guitar which you really struggle with, and practise that for 15 minutes every day consistently. If you would like, take a pre and post week video to see how much you improved!

Happy Musical Monday Everyone!
I want to share something I learned a very long time ago when I was first learning guitar. When I first picked up the guitar, BEFORE I even had my Fender Strat, I played my sister's acoustic guitar with an even older Hal Leonard beginner's guitar method booklet. The tip that the booklet said, "Regular practise is essential. Practising a half hour each day is better than practising two hours every four days. Find a regular time of the day that works for you." That Hal Leonard book is completely right! Many studies show that daily practise of hobbies shows an increase in interest, skill, and enjoyment for that specific hobby! Practising guitar every day, even for a short period of time, helps your practising signifigantly because of the consistency, compared to a practise session every couple of days for a longer period of time. So the takeaway from this? Find a time that works FOR YOU to practise, and split up time dedicated to theory, and time to playing songs! If you are truly enjoying this Skool community and would like to share feedback, you are welcome to fill out this Google form! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdpPHDYVDlJPBj0fBPtvT9bfG5BXhMVPJ9A8qhR7zV4gbAdkg/viewform?usp=dialog
HAPPY MUSICAL MONDAY EVERYONE!
Today, I want to share a great thank you to everyone in this course! Thank you for joining my community and choosing me to help you along with your musical journey, wherever you are trying to land! I can not express my gratitude to you all enough. You are all a part of my Skool family 😄. My work on the backend of the course is going well, but I want to ensure that my work is properly transferred over to the frontend for you all. I have created a short Google form for you all to answer. I would appreciate hearing your true thoughts on the course and any feedback you may have! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdpPHDYVDlJPBj0fBPtvT9bfG5BXhMVPJ9A8qhR7zV4gbAdkg/viewform?usp=dialog
Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Instead of sharing a song today, I want to share a new part of the community that's being added and worked on RIGHT NOW. If you've noticed, the only way we've really been able to communicate so far has been through the general discussion posts---and most of that has just been me talking to you guys. I'm proud to announce: NEW DISCUSSION PAGES! The General Discussion page will still be where I share my weekly posts, but we now have two new pages being introduced: - Guitar Accomplishments - a place to share YOUR progression, big or small - Q&A - a space to ask questions and help each other out If you're familiar with my goal for this Skool, it's to build a real community, not just a course. I want this to be a place where everyone can share their journey, support each other, and grow together. Learning music shouldn't be just a solo journey---it's always better in a group. I'm excited to see you guys start using these pages!
