I have been in pain for so long now. Depressed, hopeless, feeling defeated. But today… something felt different. The beautiful song of “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake was playing and I was singing along to it powerfully. And I felt something that felt weird that I’ve long lost/haven’t felt in a long time… It was joy Perhaps a connection with the divine? Who knows, but has been amazing to feel that again. Bringing light to the darkness.

Gratitude is the best way I can express my feeling since joining the brotherhood. Support has helped me see the value to reconnecting with God. Accepting a challenge from @Cameron Staples was an opportunity to push myself to try something that was unfamiliar. being part of community where men are supporting one another in their journey has been a great motivator. I didn’t have reconnecting with God as something I though would resonate with me. It is still very early in my journey. I still need to tell myself that I want to have a relationship with God. I think working & accepting that I want and deserve this relationship with God will be a lifelong endeavor. Excited to see if I can continue to grow my relationship with God and this community in June.

Some men talk about leveling up. Others live it. And now, he’s stepping boldly back into his professional calling in environmental engineering, ready to make impact in a field that desperately needs strong men. 👊 Discipline. Growth. Purpose. Wasn’t sure what is expect when I Joined this community. I become familiar with @Cameron Staples from other communities. Cameron and I started interacting in Skool posts. Then I joined the Brotherhood. I don't consider myself to be deeply religious. I do believe in core concepts like faith, community & commitment . I also enjoying engaging in virtual Platforms. Cameron challenged me to talk to God for a week. I am Proud to announce that made it the entire week. It has been a range of emotions : Glad to commit to a week and outreach & shares. Strange as I have not engaged in prayer or thought are God consistently. At times I felt a bit uncomfortable. Curious to see if a week of being more intentional about faith would resonate with me. On this 7th night, I am excited to say that have successfully completed this challenge. Overall, I feel like talking to God before I go to sleep is a positive step that I plan to continue. I will work to keep this streak going. I also want to Stay active in the community as I feel that this just the being of things that I need to commit to 2B the best version of myself that I can be 👍
