Can’t Steal My Joy
I have been in pain for so long now. Depressed, hopeless, feeling defeated.
But today… something felt different.
The beautiful song of “Gratitude” by Brandon Lake was playing and I was singing along to it powerfully.
And I felt something that felt weird that I’ve long lost/haven’t felt in a long time…
It was joy
Perhaps a connection with the divine? Who knows, but has been amazing to feel that again.
Bringing light to the darkness.
