🎉Weekly Wins
Before we head into a new week, let’s take a minute to notice what went well this week. Your win doesn’t have to be huge. Maybe you moved your body more, made a meal you felt good about, got to bed a little earlier, drank more water, handled a stressful day differently, or simply kept going when the week didn’t go as planned. Progress is easy to overlook when we’re always focused on what still needs work. So let’s notice it. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸? Drop it below so we can celebrate with you! 👇

@Stephanie Antkowiak I had a bunch of leftover rice so I got a can of black beans and a can of corn out of the pantry and mixed it together with some salsa I had made. I also ended up with leftover black beans and corn from that meal so then I used those in a different meal
📆Prepare for the Week
When you think about eating healthier, what's the first thing that comes to mind? Is it something you need to stop eating? That's where my mind goes a lot of the time, too! In Friday's email, I talked about how easy it is to get so focused on what we're NOT supposed to eat that we forget to think about whether we're getting enough of what our bodies actually need. So as you're thinking about what you're going to eat this week, take a look at a few of your usual meals. Are there vegetables in there? Some fruit? What about beans or whole grains? You might discover you're doing better than you thought, or you might notice a few things you could add. Maybe you could put some berries on your oatmeal or add beans and a few extra vegetables to your soup. You don't have to come up with a whole new menu to give your body more of what it needs! And if you're thinking, Okay, but what does that actually look like over a whole day? I've put together a 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 to help with that! It's in the Classroom for Premium members, and it gives you a practical way to put your meals together with more of the foods your body needs. A little bit of both
📋Friday Follow-Up
𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗜𝘁 𝗚𝗼? On Monday, I challenged you to find a few things in your refrigerator that needed to be used and figure out what to do with them. So how did it go? Did you come up with a new meal? Freeze something for later? Rescue a vegetable that was getting dangerously close to becoming a science experiment? 😂 Or maybe the week got away from you and you didn't get around to it. That's okay, too. The point isn't to get everything right every week. It's to keep paying attention, learning what works, and making little adjustments along the way. 𝗜'𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁! 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁, 𝗼𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲?

I used up some broccoli in a pasta dish. I’ve also been working really hard to eat up the food in our freezer.

💬Let's Talk About It
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿? Everybody has those few things they almost always keep on hand, right? For me, there are certain foods that are a little hit or miss, depending on what I'm planning to cook. Then there are others that I buy pretty much every week because I know I'll use them: ✅Berries ✅Leafy greens ✅Broccoli ✅Avocados And then there are those things I buy with the best intentions that somehow sit in the refrigerator until I finally have to throw them away. (This happens a lot with asparagus.)😂 I'm curious. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘁? I'm always interested in what other people consider their must-have staples!

📆Prepare for the Week
Before you make your grocery list this week, take a few minutes to see what's already in your refrigerator. I know that sounds obvious, but I can't tell you how many times I've bought groceries for the week without really thinking about what I still needed to use from the week before! That's actually what I wrote about in Friday's email. Even though I meal plan and shop with a list, I still end up with vegetables that never made it into a meal. 😂 I shared a few practical ways to use up those extra vegetables, along with something I have to remind myself of occasionally: the meal plan isn't the boss of me! If you missed it, you can read it HERE. As you're getting ready for the week ahead, take a look at what you've already got and think about how you can work it into this week's meals.
