What brand of crab do you recommend for california rolls? If it matters, we actually prefer the "crab salad" style california rolls over the solid chunk of crab.
fish *cake (sorry for the typo). Whatever you do, make sure you buy the crab sticks vs. the rubbery chunks you find in grocery stores. The Osaki fish cake is pretty easy to source at Asian grocery stores.
