Day 4: What Makes Them Ready to Buy?
Someone can need your offer and still not be ready to buy it. Today we're looking at what changes that. There is usually a point where a problem becomes annoying enough, expensive enough, time-consuming enough or important enough that someone decides, "I need to sort this out." That moment matters because it gives you something much more useful to talk about than endlessly listing what your offer includes. Maybe they're tired of doing something manually. Maybe what they've been trying isn't working. Maybe they've reached a new stage and their old solution doesn't fit anymore. Maybe they finally have a reason to deal with something they've been putting off. Today we're finding that point. 🤖 Use today's AI prompt to identify what could move your buyer from "I could use that" to "I need to do something about this." 📄 Fill in the workbook as you go. ✅ TODAY'S ACTION Write down the strongest situation, frustration or change that could make someone start actively looking for what you sell. 💬 COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Finish this sentence and post it below: Someone is most likely to look for my offer when... Today's AI Prompt Help me identify what could make someone ready to buy my offer instead of simply thinking it sounds useful. Do not invent fake urgency, fear, scarcity or problems my audience does not genuinely have. Start by asking me to paste my offer statement, audience statement and the main reason someone would buy from Days 1 to 3. Then interview me ONE question at a time to understand what might be happening in the buyer's life, work or business before they start looking for a solution, what they may have tolerated until now, what could make the problem more noticeable or important, what they may have tried that is no longer working, and what could make solving it worth paying for now. Help me distinguish between someone who could benefit from my offer and someone who is actively ready for it. If I give a vague answer, ask a simple follow-up question rather than making assumptions. Once you have enough information, give me: 1. Five realistic situations that could make someone start looking for my offer. 2. The strongest buying trigger and why it matters. 3. What they may be thinking or saying at that point, using natural everyday language. 4. What they are likely tired of doing, dealing with or trying. 5. What they want instead. 6. Three versions of the sentence “Someone is most likely to look for my offer when...” based only on what we established. Do not turn these into sales copy yet. Finish by helping me choose the trigger that best matches my actual buyer.

My offer: POPToday helps marketers organize what they have to promote and quickly find where they can promote it today. The person it’s for: Someone who doesn’t want to miss opportunities to promote because they forgot where they could post or couldn’t find what they needed when it was time to promote. The problem becomes noticeable when: They plan to promote in one or more Places but spend too much time searching for the Copy Version, images, links, Place URLs, or posting information they need. What makes the problem matter: If they can’t find everything in time, they can miss the opportunity to post that day. That means missing an opportunity for their Product or Offer to be discovered and potentially missing a sale. What makes them start looking for a solution: They realize how much time they are spending manually finding promotional materials, checking Places, locating URLs, and figuring out where they’re allowed to post. What they want a solution to make easier: They want to quickly find the material they already have available to promote and the Places and URLs where they can promote it. What might make them hesitate: They may see the price as high for an app that stores information they already have. What changes that perception: POPToday isn’t useful simply because it stores information. It organizes their Products, Offers, Copy Versions, images, links, Places, URLs, and Posting Rules so they can search and sort what they have and access it from one app instead of opening and searching multiple files, folders, apps, or websites. The buying trigger: They planned to promote in several Places but couldn’t find the promotional materials or a Place URL quickly enough. By the time they found what they needed, it was too late to post. They realize their current way of keeping track of everything is causing them to miss promotion opportunities. Why they would buy now: They don’t want to keep losing time searching for things they already have or miss another opportunity to promote because they couldn’t find what they needed when they needed it.

💜 Let’s Turn Digital Skills Into Something That Matters
I’m teaming up with @Elizabeth O'Carroll and the Grace for Africa community for their Digital Impact Auction, raising funds to help keep 30 orphaned children in Uganda in school after flooding destroyed their school building. And there are a few ways we can get behind it. 🎁 DONATE SOMETHING DIGITAL If you’re a creator, community owner or service provider, you can donate something that can be auctioned without costing you anything out of pocket. It could be: • A digital product • An eBook or guide • A course or workshop • A coaching or strategy session • A month inside your community • A template, resource or other digital offer Your donated item will also be featured in the Grace for Africa Member Showcase Directory, giving your business or community permanent exposure to their members. 💰 BID & SUPPORT Don’t have something to donate? You can still take part by bidding on the donated products and services. 100% of the winning bids go directly towards the children’s tuition fund. 📣 HELP US SPREAD IT Even sharing the auction with your own community or network can help bring more donations, bidders and eyes to what they’re doing. The auction closes October 22nd. If you’d like to donate something, message @Elizabeth O'Carroll directly and she’ll organise your display card and auction listing. We have a lot of talented people across our communities. This is one of those times where something we’ve already created can do a whole lot more than sit in a classroom, shop or folder. 💜

Day 3: Why Would They Buy It?
You know what you're selling. You know who it's for. Today we're getting clear on the bit that actually matters when someone is deciding whether to buy: Why would they want it? People don't buy something just because it exists, looks nice or took you three weeks and several minor breakdowns to make. They buy because they believe it will help them do something they want to do, solve something that's annoying them, save time, make something easier or get a result they care about. Today we're finding that reason. 🤖 Use today's AI prompt to uncover the real value behind your offer. 📄 Fill in the workbook as you go. ✅ TODAY'S ACTION Write one clear sentence explaining the main reason someone would buy your offer. 💬 COMMUNITY DISCUSSION Finish this sentence and post it below: Someone would buy my offer because it helps them... Keep it focused on what matters to the buyer, not what went into making the product. Today's AI Prompt Help me understand the real reason someone would buy my offer. Do not write sales copy yet and do not invent benefits or results my offer cannot genuinely provide. Start by asking me to paste my offer statement from Day 1 and my audience statement from Day 2. Then interview me ONE question at a time to understand what changes for the buyer after using my offer, what becomes easier, faster, clearer, better or possible, what frustration it removes or reduces, what they would otherwise need to do without it, and which result is likely to matter most to them. If I describe a feature, help me work out why that feature matters to the buyer. If my answer is vague, ask a simple follow-up question instead of making assumptions. Once you have enough information, give me: 1. The main reason someone would buy my offer. 2. The three strongest genuine benefits. 3. The problem or frustration each benefit connects to. 4. Any features I mentioned and the buyer-focused benefit behind each one. 5. What the buyer is really paying for in plain English. 6. Three versions of the sentence “Someone would buy my offer because it helps them...” written naturally without hype or exaggerated claims. Finish by asking me to choose the version that best reflects the value of my offer.

@John Smith Yes, I had to reorganize my community since I've moved from support for a product to an open promotion site with resources other than POPToday. We're are technically still in beta, so there are no demos of the product. But I'm working on it. 🎉
