Your Center Is Your Strength
I'm sure you've heard the phrase, "Sit up straight and shoulders down" so many times from your riding instructor. I know I did! But do you know what that does to your whole body? It forces you to reposition your body so you can center yourself, feel the horses moments, and move together as one. When you're centered everything else falls into place, both in your riding and in life. In our lives, we're constantly bombarded with tasks, opinions, reminders, obligations, etc. that can skew our focus away from what's important causing our lives to be imbalanced. We fall away from our goals and miss out on what we deem important and what helps us be at peace. When this happens we need to take a second, take a breath, sit up straight with our shoulders down, and fall into a more centered version of ourselves. This Sunday, take the time to center yourself so you can feel more balanced this week, no matter what tries to knock you off your center 💙
