Shop Talk? Live Q&A for the early birds 🙌
I want to thank you guys for jumping in the group 1st and give it a look and participating. Already there’s more group activity here than any other group I’ve made so that’s awesome to see. There are a couple different ways. I’d like to build out this community and different segments that could be fun to add within here and I figured what better way than to chat with you all and see if you’d be interested in a little shop talk? I have the ability to host live Zoom, like calls here and thought it could be a fun time to catch up or if you’d rather just have me post some poles in the group. Let me know if you prefer that method, but I thought it would be fun to hear your thoughts as well. Stoked to have you here! Picture of my brother Sam for attention. 🤣

Live Q&A would be good to test out
Hi guys, my name is Kayla and I’m from the North Shore of Oahu, HI.
I ride a 2023 KTM 250XC-W and a skill I’m currently working on is my form when it comes to standing up and keeping my feet on the pegs through technical terrain.

Welcome to The Practice Loop 👋🏽🏍️
This group is for riders who actually want to improve their riding through practice, experimentation, repetition, and learning how to feel what the bike is doing underneath them. You do NOT need to be an expert rider to post here. Honestly, a lot of the best learning happens when: • things feel awkward • drills don’t click immediately • you stall • you tip over • you realize your timing is off • or you finally feel something work after 20 weird reps in a row That’s normal. The goal here isn’t to look perfect online. The goal is to build confidence and control out on the trails. A few things you can post here: • Practice clips • Questions about technique • Bike setup discussions • Trail problems you’re struggling with • Wins/progress updates • Drills you’re working on • Fear/frustration moments • Helpful riding tips or observations If you’re new here, introduce yourself below 👇🏽 Tell us: • What you ride • Where you ride • What you’re currently struggling with • One riding skill you want to improve this year And if you’ve practiced recently, post a clip! Doesn’t matter if it’s messy. Those are usually the most useful ones to learn from anyway.

Hi guys, my name is Kayla. I ride a 2023 KTM 250 XC-W on the island of Oahu. I’ve been riding since I was a little kid, but never took the time to drill in the basics (clutch control/static balance/etc). Currently I’m struggling to keep proper form in terms of standing up and keeping my feet on the pegs. This is what I told myself I’d work on this year, so far no drills to get some practice in, but I have been taking it slower on the trails to let myself gain more confidence standing up.
