🚀 HUGE WIN TODAY: Website Fully Live- & Created a Duplicate Clone Domain!
Hey AI Family! I had to share a major breakthrough I achieved today, but over the last few days, mostly thanks to persistence and some seriously good advice from Gemini who saved the day today. ChatGPT has been letting me down tremendously the last 48 hrs. Last night was really tuff. I stayed up till 4:00am debugging and trying to make a second domain/landing clone page work in a new sophisticated platform that is not plug and play and has a very technical UI space. I officially cloned my main subscription -landing page and copied my HTML off from my main site to a 100% free, unlimited, and fully scalable new platform. This is HUGE...with Savings! NO FEES, NO TOKENS, NO CREDITS, NO MONTHLY recurring AI FEES. I feel like i cheated! ha-ha!—it frees me from hundreds of dollars and maybe thousands for me in the future. I want to scale without the big overhead. I iterate and run my AI work like I do project management and construction. If we can save a nickel, PMs surely know how to do it! I can't believe the things I'm doing with vibe coding, MVP's and designing landing pages and drip email automation, that will have strong conversion, building my social media funnel for my AI future empire. So much work needs to be done. Some days, I go crazy and go to sleep upset cuz things consistently always go wrong with this tech and things seem to always get screwed up.. That's the real truth. It's not pretty most days. Some days I have big losses and lose a lot of time and other days like today are huge, big wins. When you grind, you are going to lose family time, but I'm investing my time in building an ecosystem and infrastructure, not just a product. That's a huge difference. Don't lose focus of your overall homogenous vision. Don't get so caught up in the creation of your single product. Focus on building systems and building your social media content. My philosophy is PROGRESS over PRECISION. I am beginning to obtain the serious knowledge to rinse and repeat things now at level 2. So now I, figured out not only to scale my vision, but my arsenal of AI tools are coming together. I'm still in the conceptual development phase of things and todays win gives me hope to continue!

@Rick Guzman 👏🏾 Congrats on your MAJOR WIN! Those kind of days will fuel you for weeks! THANKS for sharing the details of your accomplishment. This provides a vision and hope to those who are many steps behind you and let’s us know what we can strive for. REMEMBER . . . lost family time is something you can never get back. Spending an hour eating Thanksgiving dinner with your family fuels your body and your soul and your family connection. You need all 3 to become the masterful business person you are. Many of the business titans write that they regret sacrificing their families and have little to no relationships with their kids. (Of course, some still have poor relations even after spending countless quality hours … but you get the point). KEEP UP THE AMAZING WORK!
😭Learn from my terrible mistake that just happened while upgrading to a ChatGPT business account
Please see an update for me this morning in the comments. This disaster is going to make me a much better founder. I got up at 3:45 AM today to begin rebuilding my company. Original post follows: I’m standing here writing this in tears, and I want to give a very sobering warning to anyone who is considering upgrading from ChatGPT plus to a business Team’s account on ChatGPT. There is a a glitch that was unknown to me before I started this process, but is apparently well known in the open AI developer community that all of your data is deleted when you migrate it and you can’t get it back. Everything I’ve been building for months is just …. Gone. Other than what I had saved and backed up in my personal files, my entire ChatGPT history has been zeroed out, and it really hurts because this was like my external brain for both home and my business that I’m building. Open AI acknowledged that their company documentation failed to include a warning that all of my personal data would be deleted and everything that I have been working on since day one in my accounts has been deleted, and there’s nothing I can do to get it back even though I followed their exact instructions on merging my personal and business accounts, to the letter. I just paid $618 to upgrade my account to two seats on a business plan and merged the data from my personal account to my business plan. Within a minute or two of that transaction going through as I was following the step-by-step worksheet that ChatGPT itself printed out for me. My accounts froze, and I had to log out. I logged back in everything was blank. When I used my previous emails that I had my accounts tied to to log back in ChatGPT opened free tier accounts using my business email that I just paid $618 to open my business account on. I’ve escalated this to ChatGPT Support and they were extremely unhelpful. Basically they said sorry it’s a known issue and there’s nothing we can do. I was planning on shipping a product today using the ChatGPT business plan because it offers a secure link so that I’m not sending out raw proprietary JSON code.

@Diana Skipper Szyper Thanks for sharing. ChatGPT basically said the same thing as @Rick Guzman but much more drawn out. Great to understand how these tools are technically designed to work AND the backup processes we need to have in place. Cardinal Rule #1 BACKUP BEFORE CHANGES!

@Theresa Elliott I can only imagine your pain and grief . . . and that’s only a fraction of the actual grief you’re probably experiencing. The mere fact that you had the strength to share this devastation with us (and based on the personal challenges you have overcome & shared) indicates that you are going to come out of this stronger and better than you were before. ChatGPT memory may be gone … but TheresaGPT is alive, well and fully functioning!!! Thanks @Rick Guzman for clarifying the technical and legal distinctions between personal and business accounts AND providing great BACKUP processes to create and practice. This underscores the important support of this community! @AI Advantage Team
Your Guide to ChatGPT 5's Four Powerful Modes
Choosing Your AI's "Thinking Style" by Michael Cooney Welcome to ChatGPT 5! Think of using this powerful AI like driving a car with different gears or consulting a team of advisors with different strengths. You wouldn't use a race car's top gear for city driving, nor would you ask a quick-thinking brainstormer for a deep strategic analysis. Similarly, ChatGPT 5 offers different "modes" that allow you to choose the right "thinking style" for your specific task. This guide is designed to explain the four main modes of ChatGPT 5—Auto, Fast, Thinking, and Pro. My goal is to help you, a new user, understand the trade-offs between speed, quality, and cost, so you can make the best choice for any question you have. These modes were created to give you direct control over how much computational effort, or "thinking," the AI dedicates to your query. This new approach unifies what used to be a manual process of switching between different AI models, making it much easier to get the right balance of speed and depth. Let's explore each of these powerful modes to see how they work and when you should use them. Meet the Four Modes: A Quick Introduction Each mode in ChatGPT 5 is tailored for a different kind of task, balancing speed against depth of reasoning. Here’s a high-level look at each one. Fast Mode: The Quick Conversationalist Fast mode is your go-to option for instant, speedy answers for everyday tasks and routine questions. Use Fast mode for: • Simple or routine questions: For factual lookups, brief explanations, or casual conversation, this mode provides an answer in just a few seconds, making it incredibly efficient. • Brainstorming and creative first drafts: When you need a quick list of ideas, a tweet, or the initial draft of a blog post, Fast mode delivers rapid results to get your creative process started. • Everyday business tasks: It excels at common tasks like writing a professional email or summarizing a document, handling them with speed and reliability. The main trade-off is that while you get incredible speed, this mode might not catch extremely subtle details or perform the complex, multi-step reasoning required for more challenging problems.

@Rick Guzman Thanks so much for sharing your project, challenges and solution attempts. Your PDFs provided context to what you’re working on. I CAN RELATE as I am helping a family member create a catalog for their art collection. The format would be similar to your PDF#1. I’m not sure how to prompt what we need BUT you posed many of my concerns like (1) which LLM is best for this (2) will it remember the prompts (3) will it keep the data input organized, especially when I need to add more input to the catalog. An Excel spreadsheet is time-consuming to create and load BUT you have PEACE OF MIND re the consistency of the input and format each time you access it or add rows & columns. Any specific guidance would be appreciated. Which stack of LLMs did you end up using? Any particular prompts or prompt structure you recommend? Thanks and best wishes on your important work cataloging those lovely corals (which need protection and care).
Help for teens trying to figure out what they might want to do.
I have some kids in my homeschool co-op who are struggling to figure out what they might want to get into as they graduate. I brought up the idea of building a prompt that could work as the ultimate guidance counselor and help them figure out careers ideally suited to their talents/gifts, personalities, and goals. @Michael Cooney Want to collaborate?

@Michael Cooney You never cease to amaze me! I’m going to use this with my nephews during their holiday visit with me from the west coast. 👊🏼 (as I already have AI activities for the younger ones). You are tagged in my “who I’m grateful for list” this Thanksgiving. Hope yours was extra special with family and friends. 🤗
What would Michael do? my response based on many inquiries.
WHAT LLM IS BEST? WHAT DOES MICHAEL USE? WHAT IS MICHAEL's STACKING TECHNIQUE? ME? If was forced to choose 1, it would be Claude Max at $100 / month. You get more robust access to the top tier models and much greater usage limits. It's alot of money, yes. But so is a cup of coffee. So I don't buy starbucks anymore, and skip dinner out and make food at home instead. I actually come out ahead in productivity which directly impacts financial gain. (the $20 / mo Claude is amazing, dont stress if ya cant swing the hundo). But there's more to "what would Michael do". I take my life and my business seriously, it's ME after all, lol. So I will get multiple opinions (AI consultations) I Stack prompts and i stack their output. I do it manually, but if you want the easier way, here are several options to consider. 1. Take all prompts. Paste them into a notepad. Save it. It is now a .txt (text) file that LLM's like. 2. attach these .txt files to a chat, and ask the LLM to combine the best of each prompt and generate a master prompt. 3. Take all the outputs you recieved from the prompts using same tecnique, save, attach, ask. 4. take both the prompts and outputs, attach to a new chat, and ask again for a analysis and recommendation. I THINK YA'LL GET THE POINT OF STACKING NOW! So to answer this persistant question, If it's a life altering or business altering query, I run my prompts....the same exact prompt, through Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Grok. ALL 4 OF THEM. Then I print them. Then I sit down with a sharpie and highlighter. Then I stack the various output's and consolidate the best part of each opinion. Once I have the perfect blueprint, I further analyze it with proprietary prompts that further enhance, improve or correct. That's the just of it. But I am a pretty intense researcher, as most people are when it comes to their own life and business. I also run prompts in different ways. Each LLM has multiple options. For Example: 1. In ChatGPT you can choose Normal Mode, Deep Research Mode, or Agent Mode 2. In Claude, you can choose a style, Extended Thinking mode, and Research mode, or combine all 3.

@Michael Cooney Thanks for your feedback and assessment of Notions! Maybe I missed it, but are you using a spreadsheet to hold your prompt database? If so, would you mind sharing your template column headers? I also share the concerns you raised about Notions. I figure I can create an excel spreadsheet. But it seems important to include a keywords column for sorting once the database grows. Now I can scroll my list … but it is growing fast just since our AI Advantage Summit and since this AMAZING community interactions. @Anita Chaumette and Michael - do you store one of your external drive sets off-site in case of fire?

@Michael Burley I think you’re right. My needs are simple but growing. My migration will be from Notes to Word / Excel for now. Backups to both cloud and my external drive!
