Hello All! After 5 years of providing CEUs, 10k+ certificates provided, and countless late nights, I have finished creating my own CEU platform, openceu.com. There are numerous reasons why I had to do this. 1. With the new ACE requirements, there are very few (if any) compliant platforms that handle certificate delivery in 100% compliance with the BACB and the few that do cost a lot to use. 2. My goal is and has always been to reduce the response effort of dissemination and speed up the rate of information transfer in the field. With openceu, ANYONE can create an event, get registrants, email those registrants reminders, HOST a live event, and have automatic cert delivery within 1 hour of joining. 3. I have hosted hundreds of CEU events, but honestly, I like learning from others much more. Instead of highlighting my own voice, it's time to put my effort into highlighting others. That is what I am trying to do with one free CEU every week, and that is what I am doing with openceu, but providing a 100% free way to provide 100% compliant CEUs. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR VIEWERS 1. Nothing changes in terms of access to CEUs and recordings. All recordings will now live in openceu, AND the links will be posted here, in the classroom. 2. YOU WILL need to create an openceu account to view recordings and get your certificate. Having an account is the ONLY way we are able to stay compliant with new standards that are significantly more strict on things like attendance checks and watch time. 3. As a reminder, openceu.com is COMPLETELY free, meaning we don't ask for your credit card or push you into a $5 membership. Just like here, this community is free. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR ACE PROVIDERS/HOSTS 1. If you are scheduled to host an event for me, Analeise or I will be in touch to explain any nuances that may come up. Please keep an eye on your email. 2. If you are an ACE Provider and would like to host an event or put your recordings on openceu, you CAN! We will be providing access to live events to a select few to start, with a goal of fully opening up the platform by August 1, 2026. 3. If you are worried about pricing... OPENCEU IS 100% FREE to host on. No matter how many viewers you have, if you want to make it available after the fact, there is NO membership and no charge to host as many events as you would like. Payment processing support (meaning you can charge for your CEUs, which openceu will take 0% of) will be coming mid-July.

Hello, all! I have a question regarding PDU requirements for RBTs. It was my understanding that any ACE provider event that a BCBA can attend for CEU credits would also count as PDU credits for RBTs. However, I am now seeing that some organizations are providing events that specifically have PDU listed rather than CEU GEN, ETH, or SUP. Does anyone know if the event has to have PDU listed to count for RBTs? Any guidance is greatly appreciated! (I also plan to reach out to the BACB).

With the changes to RBT certification, I am wondering if ABA Clubhouse is thinking of tailoring any trainings to be counted towards RBT PDUs or know of any great places to start looking for resources that don’t cost an RBT an arm or a leg as this transition happens?
