Good morning and happy Saturday Pickleballers! I hope everyone is having a great day so far. Well, a few days ago I hit my step goal for the first time in about 4 months. Last year I did double this in my sleep and didn’t think it was a big deal but now since recovering from my knee replacement it’s actually a huge milestone. I’m getting there😉 hope everyone has a great day. I’ll see you on the courts.

I am bound for replacements and keep hoping some medical advancement will happen so I can just get an injection to replace the shredded cartilage, remove the bone spurs and arthritis under my knee caps, and increase the space again. Keep going! You and Tara are giving me hope if I do end up having to go with replacements!

Oncins technical warning was wild. But I don’t hate it.
Pickleball Shoe Recommendations
I have been playing pickleball for almost 2 months now. I have really flat, wide feet, and pretty severe pronation. I have custom insoles. I looked up the best shoes for that and chose the more budget friendly option. I have the Sketchers Viper Court Pro. They are pretty good but I think I need more support. I was looking at The Selkirk Courtstrike Pro 2.0’ s, The Cypher Key 211’s, and the ones that we have the code for on here. Does anyone have any thoughts on these or any other recommendation’s?

Do you runner’s lock your heel with your laces? That has been a game changer for me. Loved my Selkirk Pro 2.0’s for about two months, then my toes started rubbing on the top and edges (this used to happen when I played tennis, too). After those getting bloody, I switched to the Ryka Women's Court Agility and thought those felt pretty good in the toebox, but not my arch. Went to the Skechers Women's Pickleball Viper Court Pro 2.0 and like that more, but will need to add in a heel grip cushion.

Pickleball is one of the few things I care enough about to have opinions.
