Not AGAIN 😩
šŸ¦‹ MINDSET MONDAY šŸ¦‹ What if this season isn’t happening TO you… What if it’s preparing you FOR something? I know that’s not always easy to believe. Especially when you’re standing in front of the mirror wearing something you spent hours sewing, only to realize the fit isn’t quite right. Sometimes life feels like one setback after another.Plans change, money gets tight.People disappoint us.Our confidence takes a hit. And sometimes our sewing projects do too. A waistband won’t cooperate.A bodice pulls where it shouldn’t. You rip out stitches, make adjustments, and wonder if you’ll ever get it right. But I’ve learned something: The same season that feels like it’s breaking you can also be building you. Every alteration teaches us something.Every ill-fitting garment shows us where to adjust. Every mistake helps us grow our skills and our confidence. Maybe you’re learning patience.Maybe you’re learning courage.Maybe you’re learning how strong you really are. And maybe… Just maybe… The woman you’re becoming couldn’t exist without the challenges you’re facing right now. So before you give up on yourself this week, ask: ā€œWhat is this season trying to teach me?ā€ Drop one word below that describes the woman you are becomingā£ļø

Come Through Come Back Strong.
Talk about it Thursdayā£ļø
Confession time, suga… How many unfinished sewing projects are currently staring at you right now? šŸ‘€ A. None (show off šŸ˜) B. 1-2 C. 3-5 D. We don’t discuss these things in public šŸ˜‚ I’ll go first… I’m definitely Team D. Because sewing is cheaper than therapy. ā¤ļø

@B Michele Wilson lol!
In sewing there’s no such thing as PERFECT!
This week, let’s leave one thing behind: šŸ‘‰šŸ¾ The belief that sewing has to be perfect. Every expert sewist you admire has ripped out stitches.Every beautiful garment started as pieces of fabric spread across a table.Every skill gets stronger with practice. Your goal this week isn’t perfection. Your goal is progress. What’s one sewing goal you’d like to accomplish this week? 🧵 Finish a project? 🧵 Learn a new skill? 🧵 Finally cut into that fabric you’ve been saving? 🧵 Dust off a P.H.D. (Project Half Done)? Drop it below and let’s cheer each other on! Remember, suga… ✨ Your body is not the problem. ✨ Your mistakes are not failures. ✨ Every stitch is teaching you something. — B. Michele— Creative Empowerment MentoršŸ’•šŸ¦‹ Wishing you a life filled with hearts, šŸ’• butterflies,šŸ¦‹ and the joy of creating your own kind of beautiful. 🧵🪔 Because sewing is cheaper than therapy!

@B Michele Wilson Yes so true
Today we celebrate šŸ™ŒšŸ¾
It’s Winning WinsDay ya’ll ā£ļø I’m so excited to share this one because it lives right here where we live! ā€œThere’s NOTHING wrong with our bodies. It’s the clothesā€ So I transformed a pair of shorts into a skirt for a friend. She’s bigger in the gut than the butt, so her skirts always rise in the front! When it was time for final fit and hemming. She said ā€œOH NO ITS SHORTER IN THE FRONT THAN THE BACKā€ I knew immediately the answer and explained it to her-this is why I’m going to pin the skirt all around while it’s on your body, and you’ll see it’s gonna be fineā£ļø Once I was finished her skirt was perfectly hemmed look same in front and back! I was excited because this helps to prove my point! The clothes aren’t made for our bodies and curves! Tell me your win below ā¬‡ļø sewing related or not! We’re celebrating šŸ™ŒšŸ¾ ALL WINSā£ļøšŸŖ”šŸ§µšŸ’•šŸ¦‹ —B. Michele—
