Tuesday, we learned that when your pants fit through the waist, hips and thighs—but the crotch hangs too low—the rise may simply be too long. Now let’s adjust the pattern! ✂️ 1️⃣ Draw a horizontal line across the pattern between the hipline and crotch, perpendicular to the grainline. 2️⃣ Cut along that line. 3️⃣ Overlap the pieces by the amount you pinned out during your fitting test. 4️⃣ Tape everything in place and smooth out the side and crotch seams. If the sagging is even in the front and back, make the same adjustment to both pattern pieces. Always test the adjustment with practice fabric before cutting into the good stuff❣️ And no, suga—you do not need to size down. Your pants need an adjustment. Your body is not the problem! 💗✂️ Have you ever made a pants-pattern adjustment before?
