Our very own member @Sara Fernandes creates a monthly online magazine and it is free. (for now will not always be) Amazing magazine with with inspiring authors and doable action tips. I am honored to be a author this month. This is what Lynn Lionhood said about my article. Vickie Griffith – “Your Past is a VHS Tape (Please Don’t Rewind)” is brilliant and freeing! You’ve given us all permission to stop replaying old stories and step boldly into the future we deserve. Ready for your beautiful new chapter? Start today with Vickie. @Vickie Griffith wow! good for you! I thought i was going out of my norm.... I decided to launch a 2026 Calendar! It was fun! Another way to promote some cash flow going into January and move people into my group. I'll take my Caribbean vacation later in January. " Warmth, Kathryn

Black Friday
Do you have a Black Friday offer? I know they make me groan, too. However, they are a good way to get folks into your business. Below is the first post to my email list. I am getting my offer out now. (It may be lame, but it's how I am rebelling against the normal) Would love your thoughts. ✨ “You’re not behind—you’re just overstimulated.” What if this December didn’t demand more of you— but restored you? You don’t need another push-hard plan. You need two grounded mornings to reset your energy and steady your income. That’s what the Cashflow Calm Challenge was built for—sensitive achievers who crave repair, not performance. 📅 Dec 1–2 🕘 9–11 am EST ☕ Online, cozy, wherever you are Join for $27 (normally $97) before Nov 26. → Reserve Your Spot Now

Hi Vickie. I'd put the sentence 'that's what the cashflow challenge was designed for..." UP in the post. THEN: "You don't need another push -pull..." and don't forget the 'JOIN ME and others like you'. Just a thought. With love, Kathryn :)
Three things I learned about business in the back of a medical transport
I did not know I had riding in the back of a medical transport to the hospital was in my bucket list. Yet, there I was. Long story short I had numbness on the right side of my face went into ER and although the test came back clear they sent me to the hospital for more test. Now as a speaker here is where I would create more tension and draw out the story but I will not do that to you. All the test came back clear or normal. I did not have a stroke. So what did I learn about business in the back of the medical transport? 1. Strap in business can be bumpy. Although the ride was smooth and not hurried. ( no siren sound or lights) Five straps held me in the gurney. I was held in tight. 2. It is okay and enjoy the squirrel moments when your mind wanders. It went like this. “What deep message is God trying to tell me about this? Oh. Look that is the brightest pink truck I have ever seen” “ What should I be learning for this experience? Wow, that palm tree forms the most perfect ball. So high in the air.” 3..Be flexible. Life throws us curve balls. I had to cancel five appointments. And was in the hospital for 27 hours. In the past that would have been a concern of letting people down and not professional (I’ve had a coach who praised one of her team for making sales calls while her son was in surgery. Really! ) Bonus: Ask for help. In the hospital I was consider a fall risk. So I was “locked” down. Nurses called it jail. They had an alarm on the bed that screamed at me to get back in bed and called the nurse. I had to call a nurse to get out of bed to walk to the bathroom. It was uncomfortable to hit that button when I was really capable to go on my own. But there was something comforting about knowing someone would show up for me. What do you need? Ask we can help you get out of “”jail” or If ya need I will break you out!

Wow! A brush with fate! Glad to hear about your 'process' to stay calm and it-will-all-turn-out-fine. My takeaway: stay hydrated and get enough sleep. - ounce of prevention! A brave story. Thanks for sharing. :) 💖
She slapped me.
Not literally. She asked me when I take time off for me? I said not often. She said, but that is what you tell others to do. Ouch! She was right. She caught me. I was not permitting myself to step away from my business just for me. I step away for family obligations, for vacations, or long weekends. But not to do something for just me. It did feel like a slap in the face. However, I am grateful. So, I set up a facial appointment. And a lunch appointment with a friend. Sometimes, the truth stings yet, I needed to hear it. How about you? What are you doing to take care of yourself?

@Monika Griffith HI Monika! I'm in a similar situation. We make a 'date' for lunch most days, to catch up on what's happening in the house and extended family. I also make to time to walk the pups mid afternoon (by myself most days) to get me away from the house and off the computer. The season is changing so it would be easier to stay inside ... yet I/we need to plan ahead. I meet one gal at the yoga studio, one evening a week. And, I also (try) to meet another for coffee/lunch to break up the desk routine every-other-week. Yet, physical exercise is important too! I was playing pickleball with hubby last year until his poor shoulder had enough. So, my point? Hubby needs attention too! A chore list can send them out of the house ... just a thought. (wink) Kathryn :)
